Educational Requirements:
∎ Bachelor/ Masters preferably in Psychology/ Clinical Psychology/ Social Welfare/ Social Work or any other relevant discipline from any recognised university.
Experience Requirements:
∎ At least 2 year(s)
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Develop counseling plan, format and procedures for returnee migrants at Head Office and field level.
∎ Train Psycho-Social Counselors and FO's regarding counseling mechanisms.
∎ Coordinate monthly and quarterly counseling report through MRSC.
∎ Develop a compilation report on counseling for HO team as well as donors.
∎ Provide counseling to the returnee migrant workers and their family members.
∎ Refer migrant workers for trauma counseling and others support.
∎ Assist team for field operation smoothly.
∎ Conduct regular follow up visits/field visits for effective field operation and update the progress/ significant changes' (if any) to the management.
∎ Coordinate and maintain case management and ensure support to returnee migrants at airport / BRAC Migration Welfare center.
∎ Ensure the safety of team members from any harm, abuse, neglect, harassment and exploitation to achieve the programme's goals on safeguarding implementation. Act as a key source of support, guidance and expertise on safeguarding for establishing a safe working environment.
∎ Practice, promote and endorse the issues of safeguarding policy among team members and ensure the implementation of safeguarding standards in every course of action.
∎ Follow the safeguarding reporting procedure in case any reportable incident takes place, encourage others to do so.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age at least 18 years
∎ Experience in counseling and training facilitation.
∎ Knowledge on development context/ NGO intervention at community level of Bangladesh.
