Educational Requirements:
∎ Masters in any discipline preferably in Communication, Social Science or any other relevant discipline from any recognised university
Job Context:
∎ JOB PURPOSE: Right Here Right Now (RHRN) is a five-year programme and global strategic partnership that is active in ten countries, and BRAC is the lead organization for the Bangladesh Coalition. The programme envisions that young people in all their diversity enjoy their sexual and reproductive health and rights in gender-just societies.
∎ Respective position will be responsible for designing effective communication materials and for implementing the digital campaigns to ensure project visibility and evidence-based advocacy initiatives across different channels as per the guidance of the National Coordinator.
∎ SAFEGUARDING RESPONSIBILITIES
∎ Ensure the safety of team members from any harm, abuse, neglect, harassment and exploitation to achieve the programme`s goals on safeguarding implementation.
∎ Act as a key course of support, guidance and expertise on safeguarding for establishing a safe working environment.
∎ Practice, promote, encourage and endorse the safeguarding policy and ensure the implementation of safeguarding standards in every course of action.
∎ Follow the safeguarding reporting procedure in case any reportable incident takes place, encourage others to do so.
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Facilitate in designing of a communication strategy and deploy the strategy for the coalition partners ensuring donor compliance
∎ Generate content for IEC/BCC materials on SRHR issues and produce required knowledge materials
∎ Design and printing of banners, stand banners, festoons and leaflets for distributing at local level events/trainings/workshops
∎ Capture and edit audio-visual clips and photographs from project areas, events, participants and stakeholders
∎ Collect case stories from project participants
∎ Design and procure logistics for different tier of stakeholders ensuring branding guidelines
∎ Coordinate among coalition partners for generating communication and learning materials to support advocacy initiatives
∎ Produce RHRN2 annual newsletter for internal and external sharing
∎ Conduct digital campaigns with the technical support from BYP
∎ Manage social media page for RHRN2 for ensuring project visibility
∎ Support in writing blogs and social media content for the coalition
∎ Coordinate with consultants/vendors for different assignments, materials procurement and event management for advocacy initiatives
Additional Requirements:
∎ Excellent English (written and oral) communication skills
∎ Capture lesson learnt, best practice and case stories under challenging situation
∎ Theoretical understanding on sexual and reproductive health rights
∎ Have analytical and writing skills with proven critical thinking
∎ Operational knowledge of video editing and production of high-quality content
∎ Work under pressure, meet deadline and carry out project results to showcase
∎ Familiarity with updated software relevant for communications
∎ Adaptability, Teamwork, Relationship Building & Change Management
