∎ Job Summary:
∎ Federal Air Cargo operates couple of warehouses and provide warehouse managed service operation to different multinational companies. We are looking for one Safety Manager to look after the health & safety issues at workplace as per international standards that is pre-requisite for our clients. He has to prepare strategy & required documentation (policy, procedure & work instruction), conduct safety drills, report safety concerns like unsafe condition, near-miss & accident, make investigation after accident etc.

∎ Key Responsibilities:
∎ Safety Compliance: Ensure adherence to local, state, and federal safety regulations, including OSHA guidelines, and maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry standards.
∎ Risk Assessment: Conduct regular safety audits and risk assessments to identify potential hazards in the warehouse environment and implement corrective actions.
∎ Training and Education: Develop and deliver safety training programs for all warehouse staff, focusing on safe handling of materials, equipment operation, and emergency procedures.
∎ Incident Investigation: Lead investigations of accidents and incidents, documenting findings and recommending measures to prevent future occurrences.
∎ Emergency Preparedness: Establish and regularly update emergency response plans, including evacuation procedures, first aid protocols, and fire safety measures.
∎ Safety Equipment Management: Oversee the maintenance and proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE) and other safety gear, ensuring availability and compliance.
∎ Reporting and Documentation: Maintain accurate records of safety incidents, training sessions, and compliance audits, and prepare reports for management review.
∎ Culture Promotion: Foster a positive safety culture within the warehouse by promoting safety initiatives and encouraging employee participation in safety programs.
∎ Collaboration with Management: Work closely with warehouse management and staff to develop safety policies, procedures, and best practices tailored to the specific warehouse operations.
∎ Continuous Improvement: Stay informed about emerging safety trends and technologies, and continuously seek ways to improve safety protocols and warehouse operations.
∎ Special Condition: Must be agreeable to reside nearby of the warehouse

∎ Key Qualifications:
∎ • Education: Bachelor’s degree in any discipline, preferred in engineering
∎ • Experience: Minimum of 07 years of experience in occupational health & safety in a standard organization, preferred in factory or WH.
∎ • Professional qualification: Certification or training on ISO45001
∎ Skills:
∎ o Strong communication and team management skills
∎ o Proficiency in using automation tools (ERP, Safety issues reporting tools), reporting, communicating (in writing, verbal & presentation) with clients in Bangla and English
∎ o Hardworking, negotiation, and stakeholder management
∎
