Educational Requirements:
∎ Master's degree in related subject;
∎ Master's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain/Logistics, or equivalent degree from a reputed Public or Private University (DU, RU, JU, NSU, IUB, EWU will get preference).
Experience Requirements:
∎ At least 15 year(s)
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Responsible for the overall strategy and execution of supply chain management function as well as the planning and directing of activities and operations of the business.
∎ Liaison with Regional Office for shipping instruction & SOP compliance, Month-END execution, Cost Control, Monitor the shipping lead-time and Issue-log updating.
∎ Maintain receipts, records, and withdrawals of the stockroom and prepare daily reports (perpetual inventory system).
∎ Perform other stock-related duties, including returning, packing, pricing, and labeling supplies.
∎ Inspect deliveries for damage or discrepancies; report those to accounting for reimbursements and record keeping.
∎ Rotate stock and coordinate the disposal of surpluses.
∎ Ensure adequate record keeping and manage all documentation to confirm proper stock levels and maintain inventory control.
∎ Coordinate the handling of freight, the movement of equipment, and necessary minor repairs.
∎ Receives and inspects all incoming materials and reconciles with purchase orders; processes and distributes documentation with purchase orders; reports, documents and tracks damages and discrepancies on orders received.
∎ Makes intra- and inter-campus deliveries of requested surplus office furniture and merchandise; maintains records of all deliveries.
∎ Receives, stores, tags and tracks surplus property; prepares property lists for items.
∎ Receives and stores documents and confidential files; maintains record of approved document and confidential file destruction.
∎ Maintains the warehouse, records area and stores area in a neat and orderly manner.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age 35 to 45 years
∎ Only males are allowed to apply
∎ 15+ years of supply chain, logistics, or warehouse management experience in Cost, Budget & Material Management related activities from any Large RMG/Textile Industry;
∎ The applicants should have experience in the following area(s): Shipping or Logistics operations;
∎ Supports proper utilization of ERP system.
∎ Working knowledge of data analysis and performance/operation metrics;
∎ Strong knowledge in ERP system and advanced proficiency in MS office (specifically Microsoft Excel/Power Point);
∎ High level of accuracy and attention to detail;
∎ People management skills - fairness and ability to motivate and manage the team;
∎ Excellent communication in both written and speaking in English;
∎ Demonstrated skills in problem solving, decision making and multitasking;
∎ Conceptual, analytical, documentation and presentation skills;
∎ Physical ability to frequently lift and carry materials weighing up to 25 pounds, and occasionally up to 50 lbs.
