Job Responsibilities:
∎ Oversee day-to-day management of administrative aspects of project implementation in coordination with Chief of Party
∎ Oversee program budgeting, financial management, and ensure contractual compliance with USAID and BRAC policies and regulations
∎ Supervise, manage, and mentor program staff, including accountability for hiring a diverse and qualified staff and building a strong team
∎ Supervise project administrative staff and short-term consultants to ensure effective project implementation across all deliverables
∎ Support Chief of Party in preparation of annual work plans and progress reports and ensure timely submission to USAID
∎ Coordinate the inputs and activities of local and international partners, and monitor their technical progress
∎ As needed, coordinate with other BRAC departments (research, communication) and external partners to contribute technical research and analysis through community assessments, market surveys, and existing evidence
∎ Coordinate with implementing partners and country counterparts to represent Ban-Am’s work externally and advocate for additional investments in local organizations
∎ Other duties as assigned
∎ Safeguarding responsibilities:
∎ Ensure the safety of team members from any harm, abuse, neglect, harassment and exploitation to achieve the programme’s goals on safeguarding implementation. Act as a key source of support, guidance and expertise on safeguarding for establishing a safe working environment.
∎ Practice, promote and endorse the issues of safeguarding policy among team members and ensure the implementation of safeguarding standards in every course of action.
∎ Follow the safeguarding reporting procedure in case any reportable incident takes place, encourage others to do so.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age at least 25 years
∎ 7+ years of experience with progressively increasing responsibilities and duties in programs focused on organizational development in the Bangladeshi context
