Educational Requirements:
∎ Bachelor's degree in CSE/ ICT/ IT from any reputed public/ private university is required. Certification Preferred: Oracle Database PL/SQL Certified Professional/ SQL Certified Associate and RHCA/RHCS.
Experience Requirements:
∎ 5 to 7 year(s)
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Assist with design, construction and integration of database / software applications that will supply the information necessary to satisfy the requirements of users throughout the customers.
∎ Writing complex, high performing and maintainable SQL Queries, PL-SQL Programs, Packages, Stored Procedures, Functions and Triggers
∎ Review and recommend changes if required to all developed queries, packages, procedures and functions of Oracle database.
∎ Coordinate with the team of Java developers to accomplish complex financial calculations.
∎ Performing PL/SQL code optimization for reducing the execution time of various processes of Banking Application Software
∎ Performing Instance tuning as well as Oracle Database Performance Tuning in Single Instance and Cluster Database.
∎ Coordinate with DBA in creating and managing tables, indexes, partitions, table spaces, auditing, gathering statistics and data quality checks.
∎ Performance Tuning of the database (Memory allocation Tuning, I/O Tuning, Contentions Tuning) and OS Monitoring using SAR, VMSTAT, TOP and Oracle OS watcher.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Working as an Oracle DBA or PL-SQL Programmer in a Banking Application is preferable.
∎ Clear concept of programming language is mandatory.
∎ Interest and desire to learn the specific business domain in addition to relevant technology to become an impactful database developer.
∎ Must possess excellent customer management skills and should maintain a professional and cordial relationship with clients.
∎ Ability to prioritize, multi-task and follow-up with minimal direction from team-lead.
∎ Attention to detail and organized.
