Educational Requirements:
∎ Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Computer Science
∎ Preferred Professional Certification: DBA Certification (Preferred ORACLE or MircorsoftSql Server)
Experience Requirements:
∎ At least 2 year(s)
∎ The applicants should have experience in the following area(s):
MircorsoftSQL, MySQL database, Oracle Database
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Assist the section in charge in identifying, defining, and assessing the features and specifications necessary for the group databases management to meet the current and future needs of the group of companies.
∎ Extend support in defining a logical database structure based on the organizational structure.
∎ Database clustering and always on high availability (AOAG) Design and configuration.
∎ Work on the execution of procedures for testing and implementing new applications in the database environment.
∎ Configure and administration of DATABASE Mirroring, Log shipping, Replication & cloning.
∎ Troubleshooting performance with SQL server profiler, Database engine tuning advisor, or Solarwind DPA.
∎ Database backup assurance and disaster recovery planning & implementation.
∎ Create, and implement policies and procedures related to data security and integrity and monitor access policies, limiting database access on a need-related basis.
∎ Get involved in developing, maintaining, and administering additional corporate data libraries specific to the organization, industry, or locality.
∎ Evaluate current and projected database performance, and recommends changes and enhancements.
∎ Draft training documentation and guidelines for analysts and relevant users/moderators.
∎ Fix data conflicts for matters such as naming conventions, data privacy, and data ownership.
∎ Maintain developments and best practices per DBMS trends and related technology.
∎ Perform relevant tasks based on requirements.

: We are looking for an experienced core database administrator who would be in control of the Company's database system. Besides this particular role adds a major responsibility to assist the section in charge of overseeing all group databases. This position requires extensive experience with DBA front-end and back-end tools, excellent problem-solving skills, and hands-on experience with Oracle Database, Microsoft SQL Server, MySQL DB, PostgreSQL, etc. management. Additionally, the candidate has to have proven experience with Data Guard configuration tools.
