Role Overview

We are looking for a motivated Data Scientist to analyze data, build predictive models, and generate actionable insights for global client projects. This role requires the ability to work across diverse problem domains (e.g., analytics, forecasting, NLP, computer vision) depending on project needs. The ideal candidate should demonstrate strong learning agility and the ability to quickly adapt to new tools, datasets, and business problems. The role involves working closely with cross-functional teams to solve business problems using data-driven approaches while maintaining high standards of quality and delivery.

Key Responsibilities:

• Analyze structured and unstructured data to extract insights and trends
• Work on a variety of problem types and datasets across different projects and domains.
• Develop and validate machine learning models for business use cases
• Perform data preprocessing, feature engineering, and model evaluation
• Collaborate with engineering teams to support model deployment
• Create reports, dashboards, and visualizations for stakeholders
• Assist in translating business requirements into analytical solutions
• Support communication and collaboration with international teams and clients
• Continuously improve model performance and accuracy
• Work effectively with evolving or partially defined requirements in dynamic project environments

Education:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related field
• Master’s degree is a plus but not mandatory

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• 2+ years of experience in Data Science or related roles
• Strong proficiency in Python (Pandas, NumPy, Scikit-learn)
• Good understanding of statistics, probability, and machine learning algorithms
• Strong foundation in core machine learning concepts applicable across domains
• Experience with data visualization tools (Matplotlib, Seaborn, Power BI, or Tableau)
• Knowledge of SQL and database systems
• Experience in data cleaning, preprocessing, and exploratory data analysis (EDA)
• Understanding of model evaluation techniques and handling real-world data challenges (e.g., noisy or imbalanced data)
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Ability to communicate insights clearly in English
• Ability to quickly learn and apply new technologies, tools, and methodologies

Preferred Skills:

• Familiarity with deep learning frameworks (TensorFlow, PyTorch)
• Basic understanding of MLOps and model deployment
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP)
• Exposure to NLP, computer vision, or time-series forecasting
• Experience working with global clients or multicultural teams
• Knowledge of business domains such as e-commerce, logistics, or finance
