BJIT Academy is offering a 4-month, hands-on cloud-native and AI-augmented engineering program for fresh graduates and early-career professionals. We are looking for motivated trainees who want to grow into modern DevOps and cloud engineers who use AI as a daily engineering tool. The program focuses on practical engineering habits: automating delivery, operating cloud environments, improving reliability, and applying security from the beginning.

Alongside these fundamentals, trainees learn to apply AI where it creates real leverage — using AI coding assistants to write and review infrastructure code, applying AIOps for intelligent monitoring and faster incident response, and understanding MLOps to deploy and operate machine-learning workloads. Data engineering and data platform work — building reliable pipelines and the platforms that feed analytics and AI — are also within the training scope and responsibilities.

Selected candidates learn through guided sessions, labs, assessments, and a final AI-enabled project aligned with real software delivery and cloud operations workflows.

Training Responsibilities:

● Participate fully in training, labs, reviews, assessments, and project work.
● Use Git workflows, pull requests, branching, release practices, and technical documentation.
● AI-assisted delivery — use AI coding assistants (e.g., GitHub Copilot–style tools) to draft, review, and refactor scripts, CI/CD pipelines, and infrastructure-as-code, always validating output before merge.
● Assist in building CI/CD pipelines for build, test, security checks, release, and deployment.
● Provision and manage cloud resources under guidance, with attention to IAM, networking, cost, and reliability.
● Practice infrastructure as code, configuration management, and repeatable environment setup.
● Containerize applications, work with registries, and learn Kubernetes deployment fundamentals.
● AIOps & observability — support AI-driven monitoring, log analysis, anomaly detection, alert correlation, and faster incident triage as part of continuous-improvement activities.
● MLOps fundamentals — help package, deploy, version, and monitor ML models, including basic drift detection and retraining workflows.
● Data engineering & platforms — help build and operate data pipelines (ETL/ELT), manage storage, data warehouses/lakes, orchestration, and data quality for analytics and AI workloads.
● Apply basic DevSecOps practices, including secrets handling, least privilege, and vulnerability awareness — including responsible, secure use of AI tools.

Educational Requirements:

● BSc in CSE, SWE, IT, EEE, or a related discipline.
● Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.

Experience Requirements:

● Freshers are encouraged to apply; candidates with up to 1 year of experience may also apply.

Additional Requirements:

● Strong interest in DevOps, cloud engineering, platform engineering, SRE, or AI-driven infrastructure automation.
● Programming or scripting foundation in Python, Bash, PowerShell, JavaScript, Java, C#, or similar.
● Basic understanding of DSA, OOP, SDLC, testing concepts, REST APIs, and databases.
● Comfort with Linux command line basics and operating system fundamentals.
● Basic networking awareness: TCP/IP, DNS, HTTP/HTTPS, SSH, firewalls, and load balancing.
● Curiosity about AI — willingness to learn AI/ML fundamentals and to use generative-AI coding tools productively and responsibly (no prior AI experience required).
● Good analytical thinking, ownership mindset, communication skills, and willingness to troubleshoot.
● Availability for the full program from 1 September 2026 to 31 December 2026.

Preferred (will be considered an advantage):

● Academic, internship, lab, or personal project exposure to AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
● Awareness of Docker, Kubernetes, Terraform, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI/CD, Jenkins, Azure DevOps, or similar tools.
● AI/ML awareness — exposure to ML basics, data pipelines, model APIs, or AI coding assistants through coursework, labs, or personal projects.
● Data awareness — familiarity with SQL, ETL/ELT concepts, data warehouses or lakes, or tools such as Airflow, dbt, Spark, or Kafka.
● Interest in observability, dashboards, alerts, incident learning, performance, cost optimization, and secure delivery.
● Relevant cloud/AI labs, open-source contribution, hackathons, coding competitions, or certification preparation.

Full-time training program (work-from-office at BJIT / BJIT Academy facilities in Dhaka).
