• Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in Data Science and Engineering/ Data Science and Artificial Intelligence/ Data Science and Machine Learning/ Applied Statistics and Data Science

1. Strong analytical and quantitative abilities.
2. Commercial knowledge about how business house works, specially in RMG sector.
3. Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, R, or Java.   
4. Experience with data manipulation and analysis tools, such as SQL, Excel, and pandas.
5. Understanding of machine learning frameworks, such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, or scikit-learn.
6. Working experience with data visualization tools like Tableau or Power BI. 
7. Effective communication skills to convey findings to both technical and non-technical audiences.
8. Willingness to learn new technologies and techniques.
9. Awareness of data ethics and privacy regulations.
10. Understanding of the industry or domain in which they work.
11. Strong analytical and quantitative abilities.
12. Proficiency in programming languages and data manipulation tools.
13. Knowledge of machine learning techniques and algorithms.

The role of Data Science Specialist is new in Standard Group-MH and yet to be established in the RMG industry. Since Data science allows businesses to measure performance through data collection to make more educated decisions across the organization by using trends and empirical evidence to help leadership team come up with business solutions, the key challenge for the job holder will be establishing her/himself in the unknown territory of data science and its value to the internal stakeholders in Standard Group- MH Corporate center as well as in Cluster & SBUs. The role must understand the business model, processes, customers’ need and evolving change in the industry interims of the product, way of doing business and many more.

Key Responsibilities:

• Defining and executing data collection strategies to gather relevant information.

• Collect data from various sources, both internal and external databases, utilizing tools like SQL and Python.

• Analyse large volumes of information and data to extract valuable insights and detect patterns.

• Develop algorithms to enhance data searches and streamline future analysis processes.

• Presenting findings and recommendations to stakeholders in a clear and concise manner.

• Propose effective solutions and strategies to address business challenges to the Management based on findings through analysing the insights from data /information gathered.

• Ensuring data privacy and compliance with relevant regulations, developing and maintaining data pipelines and infrastructure.   

• Working with cross-functional teams to implement data-driven solutions and drive business growth, providing guidance and mentorship to the Corporate /Cluster/ SBU leadership team relevant to their business.

• Develop strong Data Science team through coaching, guiding, and mentoring the team.
