Project Summary

The RMNCAH Project aims to strengthen equitable access to quality reproductive, maternal, new born, child, and adolescent health services at community and facility levels. The programme supports health system strengthening, demand generation, referral pathway improvement, safeguarding integration, and community accountability mechanisms in alignment with national health strategies and donor compliance frameworks. The project emphasizes results-based management, data-driven decision-making, gender equality, and accountability to affected populations.

Background

Under the RMNCAH project-implemented by the Association of Voluntary Actions for Society (AVAS) with support from Margaret A. Cargill Philanthropies (MaCP) and technical cooperation from Concern Worldwide Bangladesh-the AOM Endline 2026 Household Survey will be conducted.

Specific data will be collected digitally from selected households under this survey. Data Enumerators will be recruited to carry out field-level data collection, coordination, and ensure the quality control of collected data.

Background

Educational Qualifications

• Must hold at least a Bachelor's degree in any discipline from a recognized university.

Required Experience

• Minimum 5 years of overall experience.

• Experience in public health-related data collection activities.

• Experience using digital data collection tools such as DDG, Kobo, or similar platforms.

• Experience in conducting or assisting with Focus Group Discussions (FGD) and Key Informant Interviews (KII).

Additional Qualifications

• Proficiency in using digital data collection platforms such as DDG/Kobo.

• Experience conducting or assisting with FGDs and KIIs.

• Skilled in supervising and coordinating field team activities.

• Ability to verify accuracy, completeness, and consistency of collected data.

• Practical understanding of urban and rural health scenarios.

• Good communication and interpersonal skills.

• Ability to work in remote and challenging field environments.

• Ability to quickly identify and resolve field-level issues.

• Must be responsible, proactive, and field-focused.

• Ability to join immediately according to the survey schedule.

 Duties & Scope of Work

• AVAS will recruit Data Enumerators for the Annual Outcome Monitoring (AOM) – Endline 2026 Household Survey under the project "Partnerships for Improved Reproductive, Maternal, Neonatal, Child, and Adolescent Health (RMNCAH) in Coastal Bangladesh," funded by Margaret A. Cargill Philanthropies (MaCP) in cooperation with Concern Worldwide. The objective of this initiative is to improve reproductive, maternal, neonatal, child, and adolescent health services in coastal Bangladesh.

• Perform household data collection duties as assigned.

• Collect data through online data collection applications (DDG/Kobo) using tablets provided by AVAS.

• Collect accurate, complete, and reliable data from respondents following approved questionnaires and data collection instructions.

• Obtain required Informed Consent from respondents prior to each interview and maintain the confidentiality of all collected data.

• Complete daily data collection targets within the specified timeframe.

• Report any field issues, data inconsistencies, or technical glitches immediately to the relevant Supervisor or MEAL Officer.

• Ensure high quality, accuracy, and completeness of all collected data.

• Facilitate or assist with FGDs and KIIs as required.

• Strictly follow ethical guidelines of survey work, data protection rules, and applicable AVAS policies.

Financial Benefits and Terms

• Daily Allowance: BDT 2,500 per day for a total duration of 13 days.

  • (This daily rate includes travel, accommodation, and food expenses).

• Remuneration will be paid at the agreed daily rate in accordance with organizational policies and procedures.

• Payment Timeline: Payment will be processed within a maximum of 30 days after the completion of survey activities and submission of required documents.

Work Station

Galachipa (Patuakhali District) and Taltali & Amatali (Barguna District).

• Reporting to: MEAL Officer

• Type of Employment: Short-term contractual recruitment for 13 days

Daily Allowance: BDT 2,500 per day for a total duration of 13 days.
