Project Name: The Meaningful Participation and Inclusion of Children and Youth with Disabilities in All Domains of CBR (MaPInCBR)

Implementing Organization: Sampreeti Protibandhi Unnayan Sangstha (SPUS)

Partner Organization: Centre for Disability in Development (CDD)

Nature of Employment: Contractual

Duty Station: The position will require field-based work in Parbatipur, Kaharole, and Biral Upazilas, as per the requirements and field implementation plan of the partner organization.

Proposed Contract Period: Up to December 2026

Justification for Recruitment

• Under the MaPInCBR project, recruitment of a CBR Facilitator is required to ensure the meaningful participation and inclusion of children and youth with disabilities across different domains of Community-Based Rehabilitation (CBR), including health, education, livelihood, social inclusion, and empowerment.

• The CBR Facilitator will be responsible for supporting the planning, implementation, coordination, monitoring, and follow-up of project activities at the field level. The position will also facilitate collaboration among children and youth with disabilities, their families, Organizations of Persons with Disabilities (OPDs), Community-Based Organizations (CBOs), local institutions, service providers, and other relevant stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities and Duties

• The CBR Facilitator will be responsible for the following:

• Plan and implement CBR-based project activities at the community and field level.

• Work with relevant stakeholders to identify the needs, capacities, priorities, and aspirations of children and youth with disabilities.

• Facilitate activities aimed at increasing the meaningful participation and inclusion of children and youth with disabilities across different CBR domains.

• Coordinate and maintain effective communication with children and youth with disabilities, their families, OPDs, CBOs, local institutions, service providers, and other relevant stakeholders.

• Support the implementation of awareness-raising activities, capacity-building sessions, training, meetings, workshops, and other project interventions.

• Regularly monitor field-level activities and conduct necessary follow-up with project participants and stakeholders.

• Collect, document, maintain, and report project-related information and data as required.

• Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of project participants in accordance with project requirements and data protection principles.

• Regularly identify and analyze problems, barriers, and challenges arising during field-level implementation and promptly communicate them to the Project Officer/Project Management Team.

• Assess the nature and possible causes of identified problems and support the development and implementation of appropriate corrective and solution-oriented measures.

• Regularly follow up on the progress and outcomes of actions taken to address identified challenges.

• Ensure that all field-level activities are implemented in accordance with project policies, child safeguarding requirements, safeguarding standards, and disability-inclusive principles.

• Perform any other relevant duties assigned by the Project Management Team in support of effective project implementation.
