 Project Summary

The RMNCAH Project aims to strengthen equitable access to quality reproductive, maternal, new born, child, and adolescent health services at community and facility levels. The programme supports health system strengthening, demand generation, referral pathway improvement, safeguarding integration, and community accountability mechanisms in alignment with national health strategies and donor compliance frameworks. The project emphasizes results-based management, data-driven decision-making, gender equality, and accountability to affected populations.

Background

Under the RMNCAH project-implemented by the Association of Voluntary Actions for Society (AVAS) with support from Margaret A. Cargill Philanthropies (MaCP) and technical cooperation from Concern Worldwide Bangladesh-the AOM Endline 2026 Household Survey will be conducted.

Specific data will be collected digitally from selected households under this survey. Data Enumerators will be recruited to carry out field-level data collection, coordination, and ensure the quality control of collected data.

Workplace Location: Galachipa (Patuakhali District), and Taltali & Amatali (Barguna District)

Assignment Duration: 13 Days

Background

Under the RMNCAH project-implemented by the Association of Voluntary Actions for Society (AVAS) with support from Margaret A. Cargill Philanthropies (MaCP) and technical cooperation from Concern Worldwide Bangladesh, the AOM Endline 2026 Household Survey will be conducted.

Specific data will be collected digitally from selected households under this survey. A Data Enumerator Supervisor will be recruited to supervise field operations, coordinate data collectors, and ensure the quality control of collected data.

Educational Qualifications

• Must hold at least a Master's degree in any discipline from a recognized university.

Required Experience

• Minimum 5 years of experience as a supervisor in public health-related data collection activities.

• Practical experience in household surveys and field-level data collection supervision.

• Experience supervising and coordinating field workers / data collector teams.

• Experience in data quality control, verification, and field-level re-verification.

  Additional Qualifications

• Proficiency in using digital data collection platforms such as ODK/Kobo.

• Experience conducting or assisting with Focus Group Discussions (FGD) and Key Informant Interviews (KII).

• Skilled in supervising and coordinating the work of data collection teams.

• Ability to verify accuracy, completeness, and consistency of collected data.

• Practical understanding of urban and rural health scenarios.

• Good communication and interpersonal skills.

• Ability to work in remote and challenging field environments.

• Ability to quickly identify and resolve field-level issues.

• Must be responsible, proactive, and field-focused.

• Ability to join immediately according to the survey schedule.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate the daily activities of data collectors.

• Ensure proper adherence to data collection methodology, questionnaires, and field instructions.

• Monitor progress and data quality during household data collection.

• Regularly review digitally submitted data.

• Identify errors, incomplete, or inconsistent data and ensure necessary re-verification.

• Provide required field-level support to data collectors.

• Identify field issues promptly and take quick remedial measures.

• Inform the relevant MEAL Officer daily regarding progress and critical issues.

• Ensure respondent consent, confidentiality, personal dignity, and safety.

• Facilitate or assist with FGDs and KIIs as required.

• Properly store and preserve survey-related documentation and data.

• Perform other relevant tasks as instructed by the project management.

Remuneration and Benefits

• Daily Honorarium: BDT 2,800.

  (The daily honorarium includes conveyance/travel, accommodation, and food expenses).

• Total 13 Days Duty Breakdown:

  • 03 Days: Orientation on data collection methods and operations.

  • 10 Days: Household-level data collection activities.

• Remuneration will be paid within a maximum of 30 days after the completion of the survey and submission of necessary documents, in accordance with organizational policies.

Work Station

Designated Unions, Wards, and selected households in Galachipa Upazila (Patuakhali District) and Taltali & Amatali Upazilas (Barguna District).

• Daily Honorarium: BDT 2,800.
