Job Purpose
The Trainer will be responsible for conducting training sessions for project participants according to the approved training modules, guidelines, and schedule. The role will focus on helping participants develop practical knowledge and skills through easy, interactive, and participatory training methods.
The Trainer will also support participant assessment, mentoring, follow-up, documentation, and reporting related to training activities.
Key Responsibilities
Conduct training sessions according to the approved curriculum, module, and training schedule.
Prepare session plans, training materials, exercises, and practical activities before each training.
Explain training topics in a simple, practical, and participant-friendly way.
Use interactive training methods such as group work, role play, case studies, discussions, demonstrations, and practical exercises.
Ensure active participation and engagement of all participants during training sessions.
Provide individual guidance and additional support to participants when required.
Conduct pre-training and post-training assessments to measure participants’ learning progress.
Monitor participant attendance, participation, performance, and overall progress.
Provide feedback and coaching to participants to improve their knowledge and skills.
Conduct participant follow-up and provide mentoring support when required.
Maintain proper records of attendance, assessments, training materials, photographs, and participant information.
Prepare and submit training reports and participant progress updates within the required timeline.
Coordinate with the Upazila Manager, Cluster Coordinator, Community Mobilizer, Training Center team, and other project staff.
Support training venue preparation, participant communication, material distribution, and other training-related arrangements.
Ensure that training sessions are inclusive, respectful, and suitable for youth, women, and participants from different backgrounds.
Follow The Earth Society’s policies, safeguarding requirements, code of conduct, and project guidelines.
Represent The Earth Society professionally during training, field visits, and other project activities.
Perform any other relevant duties assigned by the supervisor.
