Experience:
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a relevant discipline.
Knowledge and practical experience in using accounting software will be considered an advantage.
Sound understanding of accounting and financial management in NGO/development projects is required.
Experience
Minimum 2–3 years of relevant experience in Accounts and Administration in an NGO, INGO, or development project.
Previous experience in accounting, financial management, and financial reporting of donor-funded projects will be considered an advantage.
Required Skills and Competencies
Strong knowledge and practical skills in accounting, financial documentation, and record keeping.
Good working knowledge of MS Excel and MS Office applications.
High level of accuracy, integrity, confidentiality, and attention to detail.
Good administrative and office management skills.
Ability to maintain proper documentation and meet reporting deadlines.
Good communication and reporting skills in both Bangla and English.
Ability to work independently as well as effectively within a team.

Justification for Recruitment
The recruitment of an Accounts & Admin Officer is required to ensure effective financial and administrative management of the MaPInCBR project. The position will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records and documentation, processing bills and vouchers, monitoring project expenditures against the approved budget, preparing financial reports, supporting procurement and administrative functions, and ensuring compliance with the organization’s financial policies and applicable donor requirements.
The position is essential for ensuring transparency, accountability, timely financial reporting, proper documentation, and smooth day-to-day financial and administrative operations of the project.
Key Responsibilities and Duties
The Accounts & Admin Officer will be responsible for the following:
Maintain accurate and up-to-date books of accounts and financial records of the project.
Verify, process, and properly maintain all bills, vouchers, receipts, and other financial documents.
Monitor project expenditures against the approved budget and prepare necessary financial statements and analyses.
Prepare monthly and quarterly financial reports as required.
Maintain and regularly update the cash book, ledger, bank book, and other relevant accounting records.
Carry out banking activities, cheque/payment processing, and other necessary financial transactions.
Support and facilitate project procurement and administrative activities in accordance with organizational policies and procedures.
Maintain records of office assets, stationery, supplies, and other project materials.
Maintain staff attendance, leave records, and other relevant administrative documents.
Prepare and maintain necessary supporting documents and records for internal and external audits.
Ensure compliance with the project’s financial procedures, SPUS Financial Policy, approved budget, and relevant donor compliance requirements.
Perform any other financial and administrative duties assigned by the appropriate authority in relation to the project.
