Education:

• Bachelor/Honors

• Age At most 30 years

• Two years of professional experience in health services, health counseling, and customer care management.

• Microsoft Office packages such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook (email), and web browsing.

• Willingness to work with poor and marginalized people.

• Excellent communication skills.

• Age will be flexible for experienced candidates in the health sector Hospital/Clinics.

Job Context: ASA, the largest microfinance organization in Bangladesh, is providing healthcare services through its 82 primary health centers and 14 Integrated Health Centers as part of its corporate social responsibility. Currently, ASA is looking for a Counselor for its Integrated Health Center.

Job Responsibilities

• Counsel customers according to their needs and give need-based brochures and leaflets on services and products.

• Conduct Screening, FP, ANC, PNC, nutrition, Diet, Child, and adolescent wealth counseling.

• Maintain and operate audiovisual equipment for health education in the waiting room.

• Dispense FP methods as needed.

• Maintain financial management of the health center.

• Maintain proper documentation and records of all services and generate necessary reports as per office requirements.

• Carry out other related and lawful duties as and when assigned by the supervisor/the authority.

• Undertake any other lawful responsibilities as assigned by the office/supervisor.

• The probationary period will be 1 (one) year long. After successfully completing the probationary period, the employee will be placed on the regular ASA pay scale.

• All admissible benefits like Contributory Provident Fund, Gratuity, Yearly Increment, Festival Allowance, Nabobarsha Allowance (Boishakhi), and Employee`s Group Benefit Fund, etc., after successful completion of a one-year probation period as per ASA rules and regulations.
