Job Context:
∎ The position holder is responsible to provide guidance and advise on implementing the project activities. S/he ensures that project milestones/goals are met and adhering to approved budgets. S/he manages subordinate staffs in the day-to-day performance of their jobs. S/he will ensure that the project implementation plans are developed and executed effectively and on time. S/he will ensure necessary support for all team members so that project outputs/deliverables can be achieved on time. The incumbent will also be responsible for ensure progress and quality monitoring systems for the project. Additionally, s/he will perform any other tasks as assigned by the management.

∎ The selected candidate should be available on 1st February, 2020.

Job Responsibilities:
∎ Lead to handle litigation specific cases, with the ultimate goal of promoting a highly efficient and effective process.
∎ Partner with litigation case teams to outline, determine, and implement case data management.
∎ Evaluation/assess litigation specific cases as well as the related procedures.
∎ Assist project team with planning and budgeting.
∎ Ensure client events requiring multiple integrated resources, such as off-site trials, receive appropriate and coordinated support.
∎ Create and provide thorough project documentation, reporting, and metrics.
∎ Answers incoming/initiates outgoing calls to clients.
∎ Gather materials for the development of litigation packages.
∎ Follow project operating procedures to deliver the appropriate response to clients.
∎ Identify issues and analyze data to arrive at an appropriate resolution.
∎ Consults with clients to determine service needs.
∎ Approve cases for litigation according to organizational guidelines.
∎ Ensure proper distribution of cases among panel lawyers in consultation with the Case distribution Sub-committee of the Management Committee.
∎ Prepare quantitative and qualitative reports periodically and as per need.
∎ Contribute to periodic project reports and event reports as required.
∎ Determine appropriate monitoring/evaluation methods for individual approaches.
∎ Identify indicators related to each selected approach.
∎ Develop data collection/evaluation methods and ensure appropriate tools/techniques.
∎ Ensure data collection, compilation, analysis and documentation.
∎ Monitor targets and track progress, both in terms of budget and implementation plan.
∎ Maintain regular contact with donor and appropriate stakeholders particularly in government, NGOs and communities.
∎ Maintain and strengthen existing partnerships through networking with the organizations and representing the organization and the project in particular.
∎ Ensure that all the positions in the project are filled with skilled staff in a timely manner, and are being served with adequate guidance so that they can perform their jobs properly.
∎ Ensure timely performance planning and appraisal as per BLAST policy and keep close relation to HO HR Cell.
∎ Follow up staff performance and provide support for quality performance and staff development.
∎ Provide continuous support and develop supporting working environment in the team where all the team members can contribute their best.
∎ Ensure the staff based in the project areas are adequately supported and motivated through proper logistic and mentoring support.
∎ Develop team spirit and cooperative attitudes among project personnel.
∎ Check and approve all related travel expenses report, bill, vouchers, staff leave, and purchases with the help of relevant cell in HO.

Additional Requirements:
∎ 5+ years litigation support experience.
∎ Should have BAR Council enrollment certificate.
∎ Thorough knowledge of litigation support as normally acquired.
∎ Project management experiences.
∎ Demonstrable ability to generate reports and formulate database.
∎ Earlier working experience/currently working at Rohingya Crisis will be given preference.
∎ Good in communication both in English and Bangla.
∎ Good computer skill in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint.

Salary:
∎ Tk. 90000 (Monthly)
∎ Two festival bonuses equivalent to one month`s basic salary for each, will be paid after successful completion of 6 months` probation period. Costs in relation to any field work will be borne by the organization.
