Responsibilities & Context:
∎ Rajshahi, Bangladesh with frequent field visits in the project areas.
∎ Major Responsibilities:
∎ Mobilization and Awareness
∎ To make the community aware of the objectives and goals of the project.
∎ To ensure community participation.
∎ To ensure the health and nutrition of the beneficiaries at the community level.
∎ To form teams, increase their capacity and make them self-reliant, organize and conduct workshops, meetings or discussion meetings.
∎ To implement the nutrition support program to ensure the health and nutrition of TB patients.
∎ Data Collection and Evaluation
∎ To identify the needs and problems of the community.
∎ To use questionnaires or survey forms to collect data.
∎ To prepare survey reports and inform to the higher authorities.
∎ To evaluate programs data and submit report to the concern authorities.
∎ Planning and Implementation
∎ To participate in the implementation of activities according to the project plan.
∎ To implement health camps and telemedicine service activities at the community level.
∎ To conduct field visits to complete the work on time.
∎ Implement the project activities in coordination with the community members.
∎ Installation and management of waste bins for waste management at the local level in the project implementation area
∎ Training and Capacity Building
∎ Organizing training for community stakeholders.
∎ Collaborate with local leaders and capacity building.
∎ Documentation and Reporting
∎ Assisting in collecting information from project beneficiaries, online data entry through mobile/tab, and preparing reports.
∎ Preparing daily, weekly or monthly activity reports.
∎ Providing regular updates on project progress.
∎ Documented all of the data and files keep it accordingly.
∎ Coordination and Communication
∎ Coordinating with local authorities, other organizations and stakeholders.
∎ Assisting in solving community problems.
∎ Monitoring and Follow-up

∎ Position Overview
∎ The community facilitator/organizer will be mobilized of the Sushastho Maitree Project in the field level activities. Ensuring effective coordination & communication, data collection and implement activities, monitoring and follow up the activities, awareness raising, and capacity building of community stakeholders and ensure any other tasks assigned by the organization.

Compensation & Other Benefits:

∎ Festival bonus and other benefits will be providing as per project Budget.

∎ BEDO is implementing the Sushastho Maitree Project, a two-year health program in Rajshahi City Corporation, Baghmara Upazila (16 unions), Tanore Upazila (7 unions), and Mohanpur Upazila (6 unions). The project aims to improve the health and well-being of marginalized and underserved populations in urban and peri-urban areas of the Rajshahi district. This initiative is supported by BRAC under the USAID Bangladesh America Maitree Project.
