∎ Minimum 3 years of experience in health program implementation, preferably with an NGO in the Rajshahi context.
∎ Prior experience working on USAID-funded projects will be preferred.
∎ Maximum age limit: 35 years (flexible for exceptionally qualified candidates).
∎ Have valid driving license and willingness to drive motorcycle.
∎ Strong organizational and project management skills.
∎ Proficiency in documenting and reporting.
∎ Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
∎ Ability to build and lead teams effectively.
∎ Knowledge of the local context in Rajshahi and health programming.

Responsibilities & Context:
∎ 1Project Implementation
∎ Develop field-level implementation plans and ensure timely execution of project activities, including health camps and telemedicine services.
∎ Conduct field visits to monitor progress and address challenges.
∎ Coordinate with local stakeholders, including authorities, NGOs, and community groups, to ensure smooth implementation.
∎ 2Documentation and Reporting
∎ Regularly document project progress, achievements, and challenges.
∎ Prepare and submit periodic reports to donors and stakeholders in compliance with organizational requirements.
∎ Documented all kinds of program files and records regularly.
∎ Proficiency in documenting and reporting.
∎ 3Training and Capacity Building
∎ Conduct training sessions for staff and awareness programs for communities to enhance capacity and engagement.
∎ 4Monitoring and Evaluation
∎ Monitor project activities to assess effectiveness and recommend necessary improvements.
∎ 5Budget Management
∎ Manage project budgets, track expenditures, and prepare financial reports to ensure transparency.
∎ 6Communication and Coordination
∎ Maintain effective communication with donors, government offices, and stakeholders.
∎ Represent the organization in local meetings, workshops, and events to strengthen partnerships.
∎ Regularly communicate with government health staff and CBO staff to ensure good coordination in field-level activities.
∎ 7Community Engagement and Risk Management
∎ Foster community participation and align project activities with local needs.
∎ Identify and address potential project challenges and risks proactively.

∎ Position Overview
∎ The Program officer will oversee the implementation of the Sushastho Maitree Project in Rajshahi District, ensuring effective project planning, monitoring & evaluation and stakeholder engagement. The role involves monitoring project activities and ensuring capacity building training, documentation & reporting and submitting to concern authorities and donor in regularly. Ensure any tasks assign by the organization.
∎ Job Location: Rajshahi, Bangladesh with frequent field visits in the project areas.

Compensation & Other Benefits:
∎ Tk. 25,000 (Monthly)
∎ Festival bonus and other benefits will be providing as per project Budget.

∎ BEDO is implementing the Sushastho Maitree Project, a two-year health program in Rajshahi City Corporation, Baghmara Upazila (16 unions), Tanore Upazila (7 unions), and Mohanpur Upazila (6 unions). The project aims to improve the health and well-being of marginalized and underserved populations in urban and peri-urban areas of the Rajshahi district. This initiative is supported by BRAC under the USAID Bangladesh America Maitree Project.
