∎ Excellent written and verbal communication skills in both English and Bengali, along with strong negotiation and interpersonal skills.
∎ Demonstrated experience in developing and implementing M&E systems and preparing comprehensive reports.
∎ In-depth knowledge of gender, inclusion, safeguarding, and equality.
∎ Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
∎ Have valid driving license and willingness to drive motorcycle.
∎ Familiarity with local contexts and stakeholders in Bangladesh is an advantage.

Responsibilities & Context:
∎ Project Planning & Implementation: Develop, execute, and manage comprehensive project plans to ensure the timely achievement of objectives aligned with project timelines and deliverables.
∎ Team Leadership: Lead and support the project staff and volunteers by providing training, delegating tasks effectively, conducting performance evaluations, and fostering a positive and collaborative team environment.
∎ Stakeholder Engagement: Build and maintain strong relationships with beneficiaries, community leaders, local authorities, partner organizations (C-2), and other stakeholders to ensure effective collaboration and project impact.
∎ Monitoring & Evaluation: Establish and implement monitoring and evaluation systems to track project progress, assess outcomes, and improve performance. Conduct field visits to collect data, gather beneficiary feedback, identify gaps, and address emerging challenges.
∎ Reporting & Documentation: Prepare and submit detailed progress reports that comply with donor requirements and internal policies. Document key activities, lessons learned, and project achievements for future reference.
∎ Capacity Building: Identify training needs and organize workshops to strengthen the skills of project staff, C-2 partners, and community members, enhancing the overall effectiveness of project interventions.
∎ Financial Management: Develop and manage project budgets, monitor expenditures, ensure efficient resource utilization, and maintain compliance with financial policies and procedures.
∎ Risk Management: Identify potential risks to project implementation and develop proactive strategies to mitigate them, ensuring smooth operations and timely resolution of issues.
∎ Advocacy & Networking: Design and implement advocacy and outreach strategies to enhance project visibility and impact. Represent BEDO in meetings with donors, government agencies, and stakeholders to build dynamic partnerships.

∎ Position Overview
∎ The Project Manager will oversee the implementation of the Sushastho Maitree Project in Rajshahi District, ensuring effective project planning, team management, financial oversight, and stakeholder engagement. The role involves monitoring project progress, managing risks, and ensuring compliance with BEDO policies, donor requirements, and local regulations.

∎ BEDO is implementing the Sushastho Maitree Project, a two-year health program in Rajshahi City Corporation, Baghmara Upazila (16 unions), Tanore Upazila (7 unions), and Mohanpur Upazila (6 unions). The project aims to improve the health and well-being of marginalized and underserved populations in urban and peri-urban areas of the Rajshahi district. This initiative is supported by BRAC under the USAID Bangladesh America Maitree Project.
