Education: Minimum Bachelor/Masters Degree or equivalent in any discipline from public/private (University Grants Commission approved) University of Bangladesh.

Qualification:

  • 3+ years of experience in Coordination roles as well as Strong written and verbal communication skills.

  • Analytical Ability of writing concept papers in the BIMSTEC areas of cooperation and Core Mechanism.

  • Excellent interpersonal skills.

  • Work in team with harmony.

  • Experience: Experience in working at International Organization/Diplomatic Mission will get preference.

  • Computer Literacy: Excellent knowledge of MS Office, MS Excel & PowerPoint



Responsibilities & Context:

Applications are invited from eligible Bangladeshi nationals for the following positions at the BIMSTEC Secretariat in Dhaka, Bangladesh:

General Services Staff (Category-II)

Key Responsibility:

  • Assist in planning, organizing, and monitoring project activities and schedules.

  • Coordinate communication between project team members, stakeholders, and external partners.

  • Maintain and update project documentation, files, and records accurately. Support in organizing meetings, preparing agendas, taking minutes, and following up on action items.

  • Track project progress and report on key performance indicators and milestones. Assist in the preparation of progress reports, presentations, and other project documentation.

  • Support procurement, logistics, and administrative tasks related to project activities.

  • Ensure compliance with organizational policies and procedures.

  • Provide logistical support for workshops, training sessions, and stakeholder engagement events including venue selection, catering arrangements and guest management.

  • Perform other related duties as assigned to support the successful implementation of projects.

  • Perform any other duties, including Administration and Finance, assigned by the authority as and when necessary.
