Have at least 3 - 5 years of experience in quantity surveying for highway or large - scale infrastructure projects. Candidates with experience in similar fully - enclosed highway projects will be given priority, as they are familiar with the characteristics and processes of quantity surveying in highway projects and can quickly adapt to the work of this project.
Have experience in quantity surveying for projects under the EPC (Engineering, Procurement, Construction) general contracting model will be given priority.
Responsibilities & Context:
Review the Contractor’s submitted Bill of Quantities (BOQ) measurement applications in accordance with the Contract documents, design drawings, and specifications.
Verify the Contractor’s monthly/periodic Interim Payment Certificates (IPC) to ensure the authenticity, accuracy, and compliance of the measurement data.
Participate in site measurement, spot checks, and verification to ensure that the quantities are consistent with the actual construction progress.
Review measurement data related to variations, adjustments, and claims, and report to the Chief Resident Engineer/Resident Engineer.
Assist the supervision team in preparing measurement reports to be provided to the relevant parties as the basis for payment.
Maintain communication with the Contractor, Employer, and other supervision engineers to resolve disputes related to measurement.
Participate in the review of project completion settlement and the Final Payment Certificate.
