Academic Qualification
Bachelor’s in public health or environmental science or civil engineering or development studies or Disaster Management or Geography or any other relevant discipline.
Experience
Minimum 2 years Working Experience in:
Community Mobilization and Awareness Session Conduction skills
Have knowledge on WASH intervention
WASH facilitates monitoring
Working experiences in a flood prone area
Good in training facilitation to disseminate knowledge among the people and report writing skills.

Promoting hygiene promotion-15%
Conduct houses visit for community motivation
Select place and create environment for promotion of community hygiene knowledge.
Promote WASH, hygiene practices and flood-related water safety in communities.
Promote appropriate use and maintenance of wash facilities
Support the identification of suitable locations for safe water sources.
Assist with training of caretakers for water points.
Implementation of hygiene activities-25%
Identification of key hygiene practices to be addressed and sectors of the population with whom to engage and develop an appropriate communications strategy to promote safe practices.
Identification or facilitation of community structures through which the WASH activities can be implemented
Identification of any need for the distribution of non-food items related to public health, such as containers, soap, hygiene kits, etc and participation in the choice of items.
Experience and understanding of Hygiene Promotion and community mobilization in relation to water and sanitation activities.
Mobilize the community people for execution of WASH facilities-20%
Conduct hygiene session in connection with project objectives and goal.
Support to identify feasible site for WASH facilities
Arrange caretaker training
Help plan and carry out needs assessments, baseline studies and periodic studies, and feedback findings

Community mobilization for Cash for Work (CfW) activities & Support flood shelter repair and safety initiatives-10%
Identify and engage vulnerable community members for CfW activities.
Facilitate community participation in repairing local infrastructure such as roads and flood-prone areas.
Monitor daily attendance, ensure gender inclusion, and gather community feedback.
Mobilize community members for participation in shelter renovation.
Ensure inclusion of women, elderly, and persons with disabilities in shelter-related discussions.
Support minor repairs, cleaning, and awareness about safe shelter practices.
Do effective and appropriate networking and coordination with different stakeholder-15%
Support to organize inception meeting in different level.
Ensure the NOC after selection of scheme with relevant stakeholder.
Coordination & networking with stake holders
Familiarity with the culture of the affected population, ability to develop respect from a wide range of people and strong ability to communicate effectively on hygiene matters.
Project reporting and documentation-10%
Prepare and submit a planning of the weekly activities to the line manager
Report backs any problems and constraints encountered during the implementation
