Education:

• Bachelor/Honors
• Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Computer Science & Engineering

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information 

• Technology, or a related field. 
• Experience: 3-5 years’ experience in cloud security, with a focus on Microsoft Sentinel, 
• Defender, and other related technologies. Candidates with experience not only in Microsoft security technologies but also with competitor products such as IBM, Palo Alto Networks, CrowdStrike, Fortinet or AWS/GCP native security solutions are strongly encouraged to apply. 
• Technical Skills: Proficiency in SIEM, XDR, Firewall, Identity and Access Management (IAM), Data and Information Protection, Cloud Security Posture Management Solution tools and technologies  
• Professional Certifications: Relevant certifications such as Microsoft Certified: 
• Azure Security Engineer Associate, Certified Information Systems Security 
• Professional (CISSP), or other cloud security certifications are a plus. 
• Soft Skills: Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to work 
• collaboratively in a team environment and communicate effectively with 
• stakeholder.

Role Overview: The Cloud Security Engineer will be responsible for designing, 

implementing, and managing security solutions using Microsoft Sentinel, Defender, Purview, Entra ID and other related technologies. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background in cloud security, excellent problem-solving skills, and a passion for protecting organizational assets from cyber threats. 

Job Description: 

Responsibilities: 

• Security Design and Implementation: Design and implement security solutions using Microsoft Sentinel, Defender, Entra ID, Purview and other related technologies to protect cloud, hybrid infrastructure and applications.  
• Threat Detection and Response: Monitor and analyze security alerts, investigate potential security incidents and respond to threats in a timely manner.  
• Security Policies and Procedures: Develop and enforce security policies, procedures, and best practices to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations. 
• Vulnerability Management: Conduct regular vulnerability assessments and penetration testing to identify and remediate security weaknesses.  
• Security Automation: Automate security processes and workflows to improve efficiency and reduce manual intervention. 
• Collaboration: Work closely with other IT and security teams to ensure seamless integration of security solutions and effective incident response. 
• Training and Awareness: Provide training and awareness programs to educate employees on security best practices and emerging threats. 
• Continuous Improvement: Stay up-to-date with the latest security trends, technologies, and threats, and continuously improve security measures to protect the organization.
