Job Context:
∎ A leading Ready-made Garments Manufacturing Company (Knitwear) intends to recruit a "Chief HR & Compliance Officer". The position will be responsible for handling independently all types of compliance audits in the group.
∎ Able to handle Buyer: Aldi, Primark, KIABI, H&M, Ripcurl, Intersport, Okaidi, Hanesbrands Inc, NEXT, and so on.
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Lead the Compliance team into the group and develop the efficiency, effectiveness, and competency of the Compliance team
∎ Responsible to make and implement Factory HR, Admin & Compliance policies as per local law and different buyers' codes of conduct.
∎ Should have sound knowledge of Labor Law-2006, Factories Act-1979, Fire Prevention, and Fire Fighting Law-2003, and ILO convention Relevant to the RMG sector in Bangladesh.
∎ To prepare the factory for facing different audits such as Accord, Alliance, WRAP, social/ethical/environmental/technical, etc.
∎ Responsible for entire Recruitment, Selection, Placement, Compensation/Benefits, Legal Compliance/Code of Conduct, HR Administration, Fire, Health & Safety, etc.
∎ Coordinate with all functions to manage the implementation of a Performance Appraisal System for all employees.
∎ Handling Disciplinary & Grievance, employee relation issues as per law.
∎ To monitor training/awareness on regular basis.
∎ Prepare job descriptions of employees.
∎ Maintain healthy relations among all departments of all factory units under the group for better functioning of the organization.
∎ Communicate with BGMEA, BEPZA, Compliance Auditors, Fire & Civil defense Department, Labor Office, Labor Court, Police Station, Local Influences and Labor Federation, etc.
∎ Capable to deal with all other HR, Admin, and Compliance-related matters.
∎ To make a lease/ contract agreement.

∎ Able to motivate individuals in achieving goals and objectives.
