Experience:
Master’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing.
10+ years of progressive experience in sales, marketing, and business leadership (automobile/EV/three-wheeler industry experience strongly preferred).
Proven track record of scaling businesses, managing P&L, and building dealer/partner ecosystems.
Strong understanding of automotive/EV market, government policies, and financing models.
Excellent leadership, communication, and negotiation skills.
Entrepreneurial mindset with strategic thinking and execution capability.
The Chief Business Officer (CBO) will be responsible for the overall strategy, growth, and profitability of the Three-Wheeler business segment. This role involves driving sales, marketing, product positioning, dealer network expansion, and customer engagement while aligning with the company’s vision of sustainable mobility. The CBO will act as a key leader, providing strategic direction, ensuring business excellence, and building long-term competitiveness in the market.
Key Responsibilities:
Strategic Leadership
Define and execute the business strategy for the three-wheeler vertical (EV as applicable).
Identify market opportunities, government policies, and industry trends to guide business growth.
Build short-term and long-term business plans aligned with organizational goals.
Sales & Marketing
Drive revenue growth and achieve sales targets across B2B, B2C, and institutional clients.
Develop and implement effective marketing strategies, brand positioning, and promotional campaigns.
Strengthen dealer/distributor networks and explore new channel partnerships.
Negotiate and close large business deals with corporate and fleet operators.
Product & Business Development
Work closely with product, R&D, and manufacturing teams to ensure market-fit products.
Launch new products, variants, or technologies in line with customer requirements.
Explore new business models such as leasing, financing partnerships, and mobility-as-a-service.
Operations & Customer Experience
Ensure efficient sales operations, supply chain coordination, and after-sales service.
Oversee training and capability building of sales and dealer teams.
Leadership & Team Management
Lead, mentor, and inspire a high-performing business team.
Establish performance metrics and accountability at all levels.
Foster a culture of innovation, agility, and customer-centricity.
Financial & Compliance
Drive profitability through cost optimization, pricing strategies, and revenue diversification.
Monitor P&L for the three-wheeler business and ensure financial discipline.
