Responsibilities & Context:

The Area Manager – Sales (Three-Wheeler) is responsible for driving sales growth, expanding dealer networks, and managing market operations within the assigned territory. The role focuses on achieving sales targets, developing dealer relationships, ensuring market penetration, and executing sales strategies for three-wheeler vehicles.

Key Responsibilities

  • Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets for three-wheeler vehicles.

  • Develop and implement territory sales plans to increase market share.

  • Monitor competitor activities and market trends to identify growth opportunities.

  • Ensure proper product availability across the dealer network.

  • Appoint new dealers/distributors in potential markets.

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with existing dealers.

  • Identify new business opportunities and untapped markets.

  • Conduct regular market visits to evaluate demand and customer feedback.

  • Promote brand awareness in the assigned territory.

  • Coordinate with internal teams such as marketing, logistics, and service.

  • Train and guide dealer sales teams on product features and sales techniques.

  • Ensure proper communication between dealers and company management.

  • Prepare regular sales reports and market analysis.

  • Track sales performance against targets and implement corrective actions.

  • Maintain records of dealer performance, inventory levels, and market feedback.
