Educational Requirements:
∎ Bachelor/ Masters preferably in Social Welfare/ Development Studies/ Social Work/ Psychology or any other relevant discipline from any recognised university.
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Identify returnee migrants at the airport and community level, case initiation and profiling.
∎ Maintain returnee database and preserve information of the returnees.
∎ Manage center office and oversee administrative issues and implement activities as per plan.
∎ Maintain coordination among MRSC and BMWC staff and contribute to the overall implementation of the project activities
∎ Provide initial counseling services to the migrants at the airport.
∎ Provide immediate assistance to the returnees, refer them to different service providing agencies and document their cases for further reference.
∎ Coordinate with the Bangabandhu Wage Earners Centre (BWEC) to ensure returnee migrants temporary accommodation.
∎ Liaison with the airport authority and other stakeholders (APBn, civil aviation authority, PKD) to organize regular coordination meeting and to ensure effective referral services.
∎ Prepare monthly and quarterly report on regular basis.
∎ Refer migrant workers for trauma counseling and medical treatment support.
∎ Field visit to project areas.
∎ Ensure the safety of Programme Participants, people who come into contact with the organisation and team members from any harm, abuse, neglect, harassment and exploitation including sexual exploitation and abuse (SEA) to achieve the programme's goals of safeguarding implementation. Act as a key source of support, guidance and expertise on safeguarding for establishing a safe working environment.
∎ Practice, promote and endorse the issues of safeguarding policy among team members and ensure the implementation of safeguarding standards in every course of action.
∎ Follow the safeguarding reporting procedure in case any reportable incident takes place and encourage others to do so.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age at most 40 years
∎ 2 years of experience will be given preference.
∎ Knowledge on case management, expertise in managing emergency situation, basic Knowledge onInformation and Communication and its procedure etc.
∎ Psychosocial counseling, Family Counseling, Emergency support procedure, Communication Field operation and Administration.
