∎ SSC in Business Studies
∎ Training/Trade Course: Proffesional barista
∎ Skills Required: Communication, team work
Experience Requirements:
∎ 2 to 5 year(s)
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Greet customers as they enter.
∎ Give customer menu and answer their queries regarding ingredients.
∎ Take orders while paying attention to details, such as, prefferences of coffee blends, dairy, sugar etc.
∎ Prepare an sell coffee drinks by following prescribed recipes and preparation techniques for coffee drinks e.g. espresso, espresso lungo, cafe latte, cappucino, mocca etc.
∎ Prepare and sell other beverages e.g. different juices, frappacino etc.
∎ Serve beverages and prepared food such as cookies, pastries, muffins etc.
∎ Receive and process payments (cash and cards)
∎ Keep the bar area clean and follow hygiene norms.
∎ Maintain stock of clean utensils.
∎ Check if brewing equipment operates properly and report maintenance need.
∎ Comply with health and safety regulations.
∎ Promote coffee consumption by educating customers.
∎ Generate revenue by attracting new customers, defining new and expanded services and products.
∎ Maintain inventory by replenishing coffee bean supply, stocking coffee brewing equipment, maintaining supply of all other required ingredients and food items.
∎ Improves quality results by studying, evaluating and redesigning process, implementing changes, maintaining and improving the appearance of the store and coffee bar.
∎ Update job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities.
∎ Communicating customer feedback to managers.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age 22 to 30 years
∎ Both males and females are allowed to apply
∎ Good listening and communication skills.
∎ Ability to walk, bend, stand for extended periods.
∎ Availability to work around peak hours, including late night, week end and holidays.
∎ A polite engaging personality.
∎ Commitment to customer satisfaction and service excellence.
∎ Willingness to work as z part of a high energy efficient team in a fast paced environment.
