Skills Required:

• Leadership: Ability to motivate, guide, and manage a team effectively.

Experience required:

• Minimum 5 years experience in Food Production industry
• Minimum 3 years experience at a Manager level in Bakery Food Manufacturing industry.

We are looking to recruit a Bakery Food Product Manufacturing Manager for our Food Products brand ‘Icon Eats’. This person will be expected to oversee the entire production process of baked goods, ensuring quality, efficiency, and adherence to safety and regulatory standards. They manage teams, develop production schedules, and implement quality control measures. Their role also involves maintaining inventory, managing costs, and driving continuous improvement in the manufacturing process. 

Key Responsibilities: 

• Production Management:
  • Develop and implement production schedules to meet demand and optimize efficiency. 
  • Oversee the entire production process, from ingredient preparation to packaging and shipping. 
  • Ensure all products meet quality standards, including taste, appearance, and freshness. 
  • Monitor and improve baking processes, incorporating new techniques and recipes. 
  • Manage inventory of ingredients and supplies, placing orders as needed. 
  • Conduct regular inventory checks and manage waste. 
• Team Management:
  • Train, and supervise bakery staff, including bakers and production workers. 
  • Create work schedules and assign duties. 
  • Provide guidance, support, and motivation to the team. 
  • Foster a positive and productive work environment. 
  • Address any performance or conflict issues. 
• Quality Control and Safety:
  • Implement and maintain quality control procedures throughout the production process. 
  • Ensure compliance with food safety and sanitation regulations according to BRC, ISO & HACCP.
  • Conduct regular audits of the production facility and workforce and record it 
  • Enforce proper use of safety equipment and emergency procedures for the safety of our staff. 
• Cost Management:
  • Manage production budgets and control costs. 
  • Reduce waste and optimize resource utilization. 
• Continuous Improvement:
  • Identify areas for improvement in the production process and implement changes. 
  • Stay up-to-date on industry trends and best practices. 
  • Analyze sales trends and customer feedback to drive product development. 
  • R&D (Research and Development: seek opportunities to innovate and enhance product offerings.
