Educational Requirements:
∎ Masters in any discipline/ B.SC in Textile Engineering.
∎ Graduation/ Post Graduation degree in any discipline with with Diploma in Merchandising will get preference.
Experience Requirements:
∎ 3 to 5 year(s)
∎ The applicants should have experience in the following area(s):
Merchandising, Production
∎ The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s):
Garments, Garments Accessories
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Handling and planning overall merchandising process of Knit Garments order.
∎ Communicate with buyer and develop the sample as per required.
∎ Product development, consumption, costing & procurement of all kinds of Knitwear.
∎ Communicate with production planning team and inform the requirement of Buyer.
∎ sourcing 100% polyester knit fabric from relevant area.
∎ Skilled enough to handle from order execution to order implementation till shipment.
∎ Understanding of production process (production progress status).
∎ Ensure the supply chain of fabric & Accessories.
∎ Able to face any situation. Good communicate skill with customers as well as suppliers.
∎ Making liaison with foreign buying house and buyers.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age 28 to 35 years
∎ Both males and females are allowed to apply
∎ Ability to work as a Team Member
∎ Ability to manage multiple accounts
∎ Ability to do costing, product development, BOM & T&A Plan
∎ Ability to in house raw materials as per agreed T&A Plan and to follow up production on a daily basis.
∎ Experience in using SAP software
∎ Ability to effectively communicate and correspond with internal and external buyers and suppliers
∎ Ability to work under pressure and in a goal driven environment
∎ At least 3 years of experience of working as a Merchandiser in reputed Knitwear manufacturing concerns
