Educational Requirements:
∎ Bachelor/ Masters in any discipline.
∎ Post-Graduation Diploma on Compliance will be given preference.

Job Context:
∎ Asst. Manager/ Manager (HR & Compliance) responsible for ensuring a company`s policies and procedures comply with regulatory and ethical standards. Also perform regular audits, implement company policies, and design control systems. Managing Compliance issues of the Container Depot.
∎ BM Container Depot Ltd. Shitalpur, Keshabpur, Sitakunda- 4314, Chattogram, Bangladesh.
∎ Work at Depot.
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Ensure 100% implementation of buyer's COC, Labor Law 2006, 2015 and 2018 Labor Rules.
∎ Manage the movement of cargo from terminal to ICD efficiently.
∎ Ensure that warehouse, stuffing and stripping operations are being performed properly and safely.
∎ Coordinate with operations and engineering team at both ICD and Terminal to ensure smooth flow of cargo and equipment.
∎ Follow up on all Gate, Yard activities and act accordingly.
∎ Ensure the factories always prepared/ready for the following audits like Social, ISO and others compliance Audit, Technical/Quality Assurance Audit & Security System Audit (CTPAT)/GSV and able to face their different audits with requirements.
∎ Ensure Compliance on Health & Safety as per in house checklist.
∎ Ensure Non-Discrimination in course of employment, paying/providing wages/salary/benefits/ facilities/welfare.
∎ Ensure that no Force Employment occurred in the factories.
∎ Ensure that Employment of No Child/Child Looking Workers are in practice.
∎ Follow up that all corrective action has been taken/follow up; regularly as per CAP Submitted.
∎ Take proper and immediate steps to improve factory conditions those will get the Object of non-compliance from buyers and take all possible steps to adhere with buyers Compliance inspection.
∎ Communicate with Customs, Port, Compliance Auditors, Fire Service & Civil defense
∎ Department, Labor Office, Labor Court, Police Station, Local Influences and Labor
∎ Federation, etc.
∎ To lead, direct, control, motivate, appraise & trained-up fellow staffs.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age 28 to 40 years
∎ The applicants should have experience in the following area(s): Compliance
∎ The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s): Container Depot/Off dock.
∎ Strong knowledge on Labor law 2006 & Labor Rules 2015, 2018, ISPS Code.
∎ Good leadership ability to lead & motivate.
∎ Good command in both written and spoken English.
∎ Good inter-personal & communication skills.
∎ Ability to maintain confidentiality always.
∎ Knowledge of Business principles of terminal operations.
∎ Detailed understanding of issues affecting business process and practices including legal restrictions and regulatory bodies' requirements.
∎ Excellent Organization and time management skills.
∎ Stakeholders Management and interpersonal skills.
