• Proven experience in merchandising, preferably in Knit garments (LCWaikiki), with at least 7 years of relevant work experience.

• Strong knowledge of garment manufacturing processes, materials, and quality standards.

• Excellent communication and negotiation skills.

• Leadership and team management experience.

• Proficiency in using relevant software tools and applications for merchandise planning, data analysis, and project management.

• An understanding of market trends and the ability to adapt strategies accordingly.

• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

• Knowledge of compliance and regulatory standards in the apparel industry.

• Development: Lead the development process for Knit garments, working closely with the design team to ensure that the product meets customer and market requirements.
• Sourcing and Vendor Management: Identify and manage relationships with suppliers and manufacturers. Negotiate contracts and terms, ensuring cost-effectiveness and quality. Meeting buyers and negotiating the terms of the contract of the buyer's policy.
• Merchandise Planning: Create and manage merchandise plans, considering seasonal trends, sales targets, and budget constraints. Ensure optimal stock levels and inventory management.
• Quality Control: Establish and maintain quality control standards for Knit garments, working with relevant teams to ensure the products meet quality expectations.
• Cost Analysis: Conduct cost analysis and maintain awareness of market pricing to ensure competitiveness while maintaining profitability.
• Trend and Market Research: Stay updated on industry trends, market demands, and customer preferences to inform product development and merchandising strategies.
• Team Leadership: Lead and manage a team of merchandisers and other supporting staff, providing guidance, support, and fostering a collaborative work environment. Supervise all Merchandisers and production teams including quality, planning, to secure business and also overall order tracking and on-time delivery.
• Production Coordination: Oversee production schedules, monitor progress, and troubleshoot any issues that may arise during manufacturing. Arrange fabrics/accessories of the right quality with a planned time frame for smooth production.
• Compliance and Regulations: Ensure that all products meet regulatory and compliance requirements in terms of safety, labeling, and environmental standards.
• Reporting: Generate regular reports and present findings to senior management
• Any other assignments assigned by HOD and the management.
