∎ Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Textile Engineering, Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Industrial Eng & Production
Requirements:
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age 30 to 40 years
∎ Minimum 8–10 years of experience in the Quality Assurance department of a reputed garments/textile/home textile industry.
∎ Experience to work with Buyer IKEA/VF/PRIMARK/DECATHLON
∎ At least 3 years in a managerial/supervisory role.
Responsibilities & Context:
∎ o Develop, implement, and maintain QMS in compliance with ISO standards or buyer requirements Special for IKEA.
∎ o Lead internal audits and support external compliance, technical, or certification audits.
∎ o Oversee all stages of inspection—including inline, final, and pre-shipment—based on buyer requirements, and develop internal guidelines to ensure alignment with those standards.
∎ o Ensure fabric/accessory inspections are done according to quality standards.
∎ o Ensure proper preparation and organization of all required test forms, covering each stage from development to final shipment.
∎ o Lead and manage the QA team (executives, inspectors, supervisors).o Ensure discipline and high-performance culture within the team.
∎ o Act as the key contact for all quality-related communication with buyers and third-party QA teams.
∎ o Ensure proper execution of all organizational policies and procedures as per the specific requirements of each buyer.
∎ o Design and implement a structured training calendar aimed at enhancing employee understanding of buyer guidelines, aligned with standard quality requirements.
∎ o Take full responsibility for managing all types of audits—internal, external, and buyer-conducted—to ensure successful outcomes. Prepare and implement Corrective Action Plans (CAP) to address and mitigate any findings, in line with buyer-specific requirements.Work closely with marketing & production and planning teams to ensure quality is built into the process.
∎ o Monitor process quality checkpoints from raw materials to finished goods.
∎ o Investigate root causes of quality issues and implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPA) As per buyer guideline.
∎ o Ensure continual improvement of products and systems using tools like 5 Whys, Fishbone Diagram, etc.
∎ o Maintain proper documentation and records of quality inspections, audits, and buyer communications.
∎ o Provide regular reports to higher management regarding QA KPIs, audit findings, CAPA status, etc.
∎ o Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and customer technical requirements.
