∎ 8 to 10 year(s)
∎ The applicants should have experience in the following area(s):
Production/ Operation Management
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Planning and organizing production schedules of Kiln section by coordinating all sections of production line
∎ Develops and implements operating methods and procedures designed to eliminate operating problems and improve product quality
∎ Check all the machine parameters like Specific kiln cycle time, kiln temperature setting of different size, inverter etc
∎ Manages and challenges all production standards to ensure scrap factors, throughputs and efficiencies are maintained
∎ Ensure all the parameters of various machineries for good production with best quality
∎ Giving instructions to the production officers to perform well and try to avoid break downs
∎ Check the log book status, monitoring process parameters properly
∎ Communicate all other section head for managing and developing working process and achieve target production
∎ Manage optimum manpower for uninterrupted production. Distribute manpower per shift accordingly
∎ Understand human behavior at the working place and take necessary steps if any bad incident occurs
∎ If any critical problem arises, try to solve the problem with the help of related departmental people Maintenance Dept., Utility Department
∎ Make Practice of the section people to wear protection equipment to avoid accidents. Ensure safety of the people related to the section
∎ Motivate people to work perfectly and keep eye on the cleanliness of the working place
∎ Make various files/format for various departments to make the work easier and accurate
∎ Responsible for the availability of the raw materials and spare parts. If any of them is less quantity, should be ordered before stock finished
∎ Manpower setting, monitoring daily duty schedule, leaves & other facilities and communication with HR for official roles and regulation for smooth operation of department
∎ HSE Responsibilities:
∎ Understand, adhere, implement, maintain and compliance with Health, Safety and Environmental Policies, Procedures, SOPs, Guidelines as applicable to Lab & Glaze Section
∎ Participate to identify environmental aspects/impacts, hazards identification, risk assessment and risk control
∎ Liaise and maintain with internal and external interested parties as and when required related to HSE
∎ Participate in HSE related training and Prepares & implements the required inductions and training programs to the departmental personnel on environmental protection, emergencies, occupational health and job site safety. Prepares and conducts tool- box talks for the workforce
∎ Conduct and implements department wise HSE Machine inspections as applicable
∎ Participate in HSE assessment/audits to identify areas of improvement and implementation of measures and arrangements identified as necessary
∎ Provide Monthly HSE Performance Reports to the GM and MR
Additional Requirements:
∎ Only males are allowed to apply
∎ Minimum 8 years for B.Sc. Engineer/ 10 years for Diploma Engineer with at Least 3/5 years' experience of working as a Section Chief of kiln in ceramics tiles industry.
