Education:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, or a related discipline from a reputed university with a satisfactory academic record.

• Age At least 25 years

• At least 3 to 8 years of work experience in relevant field.

• Relevant professional certifications in database technologies, cloud, Linux, or IT service management will be an advantage.

• A proactive attitude, critical thinking, sound judgement and a strong sense of ownership.

• Ability to coordinate with internal teams, vendors and other stakeholders.

• Customer-centric, self-motivated and capable of meeting deadlines.

The bank is seeking a qualified and purpose-driven professional for the following position within its Technology function: Associate Manager/Manager, Database Administrator
Grade: PO - SPO
Key Responsibilities:

• Administer and provide day-to-day operational support for Microsoft SQL Server, MySQL, and MongoDB database environments.

• Perform database health checks, maintenance, configuration, capacity management, and proactive issue identification.

• Perform database and SQL performance monitoring, troubleshooting, and tuning to improve system stability and application performance.

• Provide timely and effective support during critical and emergency production incidents.

• Support database installation, configuration, upgradation, patching, migration and lifecycle management.

• Manage database security, user access, privileges, auditing, and compliance requirements in accordance with organizational policies and security standards.

• Collaborate closely with application, infrastructure, network, security, and other technology teams to resolve technical issues, optimize database workloads, and ensure service availability.

• Develop and maintain automation scripts and tools to improve database monitoring, administration, backup validation, reporting, health checks, and operational efficiency.

• Maintain accurate technical documentation, SOPs, runbooks, configuration records, and database operational procedures.

• Participate in technology evaluation, Proof of Concept (PoC), and adoption of new database, cloud, automation, high-availability, and data platform technologies.

• Demonstrate strong ownership, accountability, service orientation, and professionalism when supporting production services and business stakeholders, particularly during critical and time-sensitive situations.
