Responsibilities & Context:

The Premier Bank PLC., one of Bangladesh’s leading private commercial banks, is looking for dynamic, customer-focused and experienced professionals to join its Retail Banking Division in the following positions.

A. Assistant Manager/Team Leader – Direct Sales (Officer-EO)

• Lead and execute direct sales initiatives to meet and exceed assigned credit card issuance and portfolio-growth KPIs.

• Identify and secure individual, corporate and payroll-based card acquisition opportunities

• Oversee the full sales lifecycle—from lead generation and application tracking to conversion—and provide accurate monthly business performance reports.

• Maintain high standards of documentation by conducting thorough customer-needs assessments, delivering accurate product presentations, and ensuring full compliance with KYC standards.

• Monitor daily team activities, conduct regular performance reviews, and provide hands-on coaching to maximize sales conversions and unlock new market segments

B. Manager/Assistant Manager/Officer – Branch & Sub-Branch Monitoring (Card business), Dhaka & Chittagong (Officer-AVP)

• Drive and achieve credit card issuance targets across the Bank's branch and Sub-Branch network.

• Build strong working relationships with Branch Managers and staff to motivate them to actively generate, follow up on and convert card leads.

• Monitor branch-wise metrics—including lead pipelines, application volumes, approval ratios and conversion rates and implement corrective actions for underperforming branches.

• Review branch-originated applications to ensure strict KYC compliance, high documentation quality and smooth coordination with back-end card operations.

• Design and execute branch-specific sales plans, referral campaigns and periodic reviews to boost channel productivity.

C. Assistant Manager/Officer – Alliance Management & POS Acquiring Business (Dhaka & Chittagong). (Officer-EO)

• Identify and onboard strategic partners and retail merchants to expand the Bank's alliance network and meet transaction growth targets.

• Facilitate the end-to-end merchant setup process, including KYC verification, legal agreement documentation, physical POS terminal installation and system activation.

• Track merchant transaction volumes to identify inactive or underperforming terminals, resolve merchant service requests and troubleshoot operational issues promptly.

• Assist in delivering merchant training on fraud-awareness and terminal usage, coordinate promotional discount campaigns and lookout for new partnership opportunities.

• Compile regular business performance reports and collaborate closely with Card Operations, IT and Compliance teams to ensure smooth and efficient merchant service delivery.
