Responsibilities & Context:
The Premier Bank PLC., one of Bangladesh’s leading private commercial banks, is looking for dynamic, customer-focused and experienced professionals to join its Retail Banking Division in the following position.
A. Head of Alliance Management & POS Acquiring business
Source, evaluate, and onboard strategic merchants and corporate partners; spearhead high-value commercial negotiations, sign formal agreements, and ensure strict KYC compliance to hit growth targets.
Drive positive growth in the POS acquiring business by scaling merchant sign-ups, managing terminal deployment, boosting device activation rates, and optimizing card acceptance volumes.
Direct merchant training programs to ensure smooth card-acceptance workflows, resolve customer/merchant queries efficiently.
Conceptualize, launch and monitor co-branded campaigns, merchant discount offers, and promotional partnerships designed to stimulate card usage and terminal revenue.
Evaluate channel productivity, transaction volumes, active-merchant ratios, and team sales targets using data-driven MIS dashboards to implement strategic course corrections.
