Experience:
Experience: Minimum 3 Years of working experience in Protection, Gender, Psychosocial support, Safeguarding, GBV, and PSEA in FDMN Context.
Skills and Competencies:
IT Skills: Working knowledge of Microsoft Word / Excel / Kobo tool/Basic Internet, etc
Language Skill: Working knowledge of Reading/Writing/Speaking/Listening in English. Chittagong Dialect is preferable
Ensure PSEA, Safeguarding, and awareness raising for establishing dignified living conditions of FDMNs (Forcefully Displaced Myanmar Nationals) Community - 30%
Organize and assist in Planning and implementing culturally appropriate awareness campaigns on key themes such as gender equality, SRHR, and protection.
Follow up and assist case workers to update referral pathways regularly.
Conduct training sessions for community volunteers and staff on protection principles, safeguarding, SRHR, GBV principles, and Psychological First Aid (PFA).
Assist and verify selected rightsholders before any activities.
Responsible for maintaining coordination with the service provider to refer cases effectively.
Assist in operating and maintaining Safe Spaces/Referral Hubs/Women-Friendly Spaces (WFS) in the target area.
Design and implement recreational and educational activities for women and girls in safe spaces.
Organize capacity-building sessions on gender equality, survivor-centered approaches, and referral mechanisms.
Provide training for men and boys rightsholders on healthy relationships, consent, and challenging harmful gender stereotypes.
Assist in developing a session module related to GBV prevention, SRHR,
Assist in preparing IEC and SBCC materials for awareness-raising activities like mass gatherings, community drama, and day observation.
Develop training modules and materials for community engagement and capacity-building activities.
Ensure the implementation of safe programming, along with safeguarding the staff and project Rightsholders from any potential harm, abuse, neglect, harassment, and exploitation, including sexual exploitation and abuse (SEA) to achieve the programmer’s goals of safeguarding implementation.
Assist in promoting safeguarding for establishing a safe & gender friendly working environment.
Practice, promote, and endorse the safeguarding policy among team members and ensure the implementation of safeguarding standards in every course of action.
Observe, discuss, and monitor the implementation of safeguarding standards in the project area.
Manage and support female volunteers and persons with disabilities volunteers to achieve program objectives.
Mentor and guide volunteers to enhance performance and ensure accountability.
Identify volunteers’ learning and development needs; coordinate with project management to address gaps.
Provide capacity-building training to volunteers.
Responsible for addressing protection issues and essential case management, and referrals.
Monitoring & evaluation and Knowledge Management - 15%
Monitor the effectiveness of referral mechanisms and protection services.
Assist in conducting regular team meetings and sharing the knowledge & findings to ensure effective implementation of the program.
Assist the project management and MEAL team to conduct research, study, data collection, and impact assessment as per (MEAL) framework and ensure quality implementation.
Take the initiative to make the CFRM (Complaint and Feedback Response Mechanism) active and monitor regularly, and circulate other Govt. hotline services (i.e. 999, 333, 109).
Manage various complaints (external & internal) and queries from different agencies regarding respective field offices as per the organizational requirement.
Assist in various surveys like KAP, Demographic, baseline, and endline gender analysis to support the program team
Financial Management - 20%
Ensure Volunteers & casual labor payment following IR guidelines.
Assist to finance for cash distribution and required financial management.
Manage bills, vouchers, purchase requests (PR), money requisitions, and cash advances for different events and regular materials.
Oversee and ensure compliance with financial reporting requirements.
Do effective and appropriate networking and coordination with different stakeholders - 15%
Assist in organizing inception meetings at different levels.
To participate in various coordination meetings as Protection, GBV sector meetings, CiC coordination meetings
Organize various working relationship-building orientations and training.
Linkages with government officials, DPHE, CiCs, CMOs, UN agencies, and NGOs.
Formulation of the project implementation committee.
Ensure the NOC after the selection of the scheme with relevant stakeholders.
Involve project implementation teams in the implementation of the project
Communication and collaboration with SMSD, CMO, focal agencies
Coordination & networking with key stakeholders.
Participate in various personal development training, orientation, and workshops
Project reporting and documentation - 10%
Ensure proper documentation and reporting of all activities, including training sessions, campaigns, and awareness-raising events.
Submit quality progress reports (weekly, monthly, quarterly) to Project Management.
Submit monthly reports on Safeguarding-related work to the Country Safeguarding focal point.
Documentation & dissemination of daily/weekly/monthly referral
Prepare and submit meeting and training reports to the finance department.
Document significant case stories and lessons learned from the field.
Others - 10%
Participate in sessional programs like winterization, Ramadhan, Qurbani, etc.
According to the proposal, propose some methodology and provide it with the experience and lessons learnt from other organizations.
Support the community mobilization team.
Perform any other duties assigned by the Supervisor.
Ensure visibility of the project.
Ensure the complaint response and feedback mechanism at the field level.
