Knowledge and Skills:
Design planning & ensure effective monitoring of the project- 35%
Collect and compile data from field teams using approved formats and ensure timely reporting.
Monitor project indicators and targets using sex, age, and disability disaggregated data.
Coordinate with sector leads (WASH, Shelter, Protection) and the MEAL team to ensure alignment with donor and organizational monitoring standards.
Document field observations and share feedback with the project team to improve implementation quality.
Track compliance with donor requirements and ensure timely submission of monitoring updates.
Support the integration of community feedback into monitoring processes to strengthen accountability.
Assist in applying the program quality framework across Shelter and WASH components through documentation and field-level coordination.
Help design and adapt monitoring tools specific to Shelter and WASH activities.
Maintain records and checklists to ensure donor compliance and reporting requirements are met.
Assist in tracking project indicators and updating monitoring dashboards or tools.
Report implementation challenges, especially those related to Shelter and WASH, and support the Project Lead in resolving them.
Coordinate with field staff to ensure timely data collection and reporting aligned with project timelines.
Ensure effective reporting and Documentation - 30%
Prepare monthly, quarterly, interim, and final narrative reports as per project and donor requirements.
Support the development of progress reports of the programme and ensure timely submission
Meet all reporting deadlines as outlined in the project plan.
Regularly update the on-track system to reflect project progress.
Ensure organizational visibility at all stages of the project through proper documentation and reporting.
Organize, approve, and preserve all project-related documents and ensure timely submission to the HCRP department.
Share relevant information with the management team to support project development and decision-making.
Prepare any other need-based report required of the central MEAL team and donor.
Accountability & learning- 10%
Ensure the complaint log & register at the project level.
Practice & promote SPHERE & Core Humanitarian Standard (CHS) throughout the project.
Ensure the complaint & feedback Mechanism (CFM), Child Protection, Safeguarding & Gender Sensitivity issues about project activities.
Organize learning & workshops within the project & program.
Prepare success stories/case stories
Maintain a regular learning log and share the learning with the project staff
Capacity building initiatives for project participants, key stakeholders & project staff - 5%
Provided one-to-one coaching to staff for understanding project goals & objectives.
Orient key stakeholders on Complaint & Feedback Mechanism (CFM), Child Protection, Safeguarding & Gender Sensitivity issues in relation to project activities.
Organize training & workshops in different sectors for internal & external stakeholders.
Organize any other need-based capacity building sessions for project staff and project participants
Research & evaluation - 10%
Conduct needs assessment, research, PDM, after action review, study baseline, mid-term, and end-line evaluation.
Conduct a Survey, FGD, and KII for assessment purposes.
Work with the IRB MEAL team to conduct different studies.
Provide technical support to KOBO tools development & orientation for Data collection for assessment purposes
Others - 10%
Contribute to other project activities & other tasks as required by program management.
Willing & able to travel frequently for extended periods & to remote areas of the project.
Ensure the safety of team members from any harm, abuse, neglect, harassment, exploitation, fraud, bribery & money laundering to achieve the program`s goals of safeguarding implementation & as well as Act as a key source support, guidance & expertise on the safeguarding of harm, abuse, neglect, harassment & exploitation, fraud, bribery & money laundering for establishing a safe working environment.
Participate in seasonal (Ramadan, Winterization, Akika & Qurbani) & emergency response programs if required.
