Roles and Responsibilities:

• Lead the planning and execution of product development strategies to align with the company’s goals.

• Mentor and manage teams, fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and accountability.

• Oversee research projects to identify new product opportunities and improvements for existing products.

• Stay abreast of scientific advancements and competitive products to inform strategic decisions.

• Manage the entire product development lifecycle from concept through to commercialization, ensuring projects meet quality, budget, and timeline objectives.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including R&D, regulatory affairs, marketing, and sales, to ensure product development aligns with market needs and regulatory requirements.

• Ensure all product development activities comply with relevant local, national, and international regulatory requirements.

• Lead the preparation and submission of regulatory documents required for product approvals.

• Identify potential risks in product development processes and implement risk mitigation strategies.

• Ensure robust product testing and validation practices to minimize risks associated with product safety and efficacy.

• Oversee quality assurance processes to ensure that products meet the required standards and specifications.

• Implement continuous improvement practices to enhance product quality and compliance.

• Develop and manage budgets for product development projects, ensuring resources are allocated efficiently and effectively.

• Monitor project expenditures and make adjustments as necessary to stay within budget.

• Communicate regularly with internal and external stakeholders, including senior management, team members, regulatory bodies, and partners, to ensure alignment and support for product development initiatives.

• Present project updates, strategic insights, and reports to stakeholders at various levels.

• Conduct market research and analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and challenges in the pharmaceutical industry.

• Develop strategies to position new products effectively in the market, considering the competitive landscape and customer needs.

• Work with legal and patent experts to protect intellectual property rights related to new products and technologies.

• Ensure compliance with intellectual property laws and regulations.

• Foster relationships with academic institutions, research organizations, and industry partners to support product development efforts.
