Responsibilities & Context:
Analyze production processes, equipment, and layouts to identify inefficiencies and areas for improvement.
Develop and implement process improvements using lean manufacturing, Six Sigma, or other methodologies.
Conduct time and motion studies to establish standard operating procedures and labor standards.
Design or reconfigure production systems, workflows, and workstations for optimal performance.
Evaluate and recommend tools, equipment, and technologies to improve operational efficiency.
Monitor KPIs and metrics to measure effectiveness of improvements.
Support cost-reduction initiatives and conduct cost-benefit analyses.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams (production, quality, maintenance, supply chain) on improvement projects.
Develop training materials and ensure smooth implementation of new processes or systems.
Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations in process design.
