Overview:
RFL Group, one of the largest and most diversified conglomerates in Bangladesh, is seeking a highly accomplished, strategic, and execution-driven Chief Operating Officer (COO) to lead the end-to-end operations of its Tyre & Tube Business.
This role requires a seasoned operations leader with deep exposure to tyre & tube manufacturing, supply chain optimization, quality management, and cost leadership. The COO will play a critical role in driving operational excellence, strengthening market competitiveness, and supporting long-term business growth in both local and export markets.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and implement operational strategies aligned with business goals, expansion plans, and profitability targets.
Drive production efficiency, capacity utilization, cost control, and operational excellence.
Oversee plant operations, engineering, maintenance, quality assurance, procurement, logistics, and inventory
Lead and oversee all operational functions including Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Procurement, Quality Assurance, Engineering, Maintenance, and EHS.
Ensure optimal capacity utilization, productivity improvement, cost efficiency, and waste reduction across plants.
Drive continuous improvement initiatives including Lean Manufacturing, TPM, automation, and process optimization.
Lead continuous improvement initiatives (Lean, TPM, Six Sigma, OEE improvement)
Oversee raw material sourcing, vendor development, inventory management, logistics, and working capital optimization.
Collaborate closely with Sales & Marketing teams to align production planning with demand forecasts and customer requirements.
Manage operational budgets, cost controls, and performance KPIs to achieve business targets.
Ensure full compliance with safety, environmental, statutory, and regulatory requirements.
Lead, mentor, and develop senior operational leaders and plant heads, fostering a high-performance and accountability-driven culture
Monitor operational risks and implement corrective and preventive measures.
Prepare and present periodic operational performance reports to top management and the Board.
Support new product development, capacity expansion, and technology upgrades
