Responsibilities & Context:
- Develop and implement procurement strategies aligned with company goals.
- Source and negotiate with suppliers to ensure quality goods and services at competitive prices.
- Prepare purchase orders and maintain procurement records.
- Monitor inventory levels and ensure timely replenishment.
- Establish and maintain strong vendor relationships for reliable supply chains.
- Evaluate supplier performance and ensure they meet quality and delivery standards.
- Resolve any disputes or discrepancies related to vendor contracts or deliveries.
- Develop budgets for administrative and procurement activities.
- Identify cost-saving opportunities without compromising quality.
- Prepare and present reports on procurement activities, vendor performance, and administrative costs.
- Provide periodic updates to the Managing Director regarding departmental performance.
- Train and mentor team members to enhance their skills and efficiency.
- Set clear expectations and foster a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.
