• Minimum 8–12 years of experience in sewing/technical roles in lingerie garments, with at least 3 years in a managerial position.

• Strong expertise in lingerie garment construction, sewing techniques, and machine handling (overlock, flatlock, zigzag, bartack, cover stitch, bonding, etc.).

• Hands-on experience in line balancing, productivity improvement, and technical problem-solving.

• Knowledge of lingerie quality requirements for international buyers.

• Excellent leadership, training, and communication skills.

• Proficiency in MS Office, production reports, and technical documentation.

We are seeking an experienced Technical Assistant Manager – Lingerie Sewing to oversee technical operations on the production floor. The role requires in-depth knowledge of lingerie garment construction, sewing techniques, machinery, and production efficiency. The ideal candidate will lead sewing operations, troubleshoot technical challenges, and ensure smooth production flow to achieve quality and delivery standards.

• Lead and supervise lingerie sewing operations (bra, panty, shapewear, nightwear, etc.) on the production floor.

• Provide technical guidance to line supervisors, operators, and mechanics on lingerie-specific sewing methods.

• Ensure machine setting, attachments, and folder usage are correct for different lingerie styles.

• Monitor production efficiency, line balancing, and manpower allocation to achieve daily targets.

• Identify and resolve sewing-related technical issues to minimize defects and rework.

• Collaborate with the IE, Quality, and Production teams to optimize sewing methods and reduce wastage.

• Conduct operator training on lingerie sewing skills, including handling delicate fabrics (lace, mesh, microfiber, elastic).

• Review style changeover plans and support quick line set-up for new lingerie styles.

• Ensure compliance with buyer technical standards and maintain high-quality sewing output.

• Provide technical input during pre-production meetings and assist in risk assessment for new styles.
