Job Summary
Jamuna Spacetech Joint Venture Limited, a leading LPG bottling and manufacturing company in Bangladesh, is looking for a dynamic and experienced professional for the position of Assistant Manager – Supply Chain Management. The role requires strong expertise in foreign procurement, local purchase, and sourcing, ensuring efficient and cost-effective supply chain operations.
Key Responsibilities
Manage foreign procurement (import) including supplier communication, price negotiation, LC opening, shipping documentation, and customs clearance.
Oversee local purchase and sourcing activities, including vendor identification, quotation collection, comparative analysis, and negotiation.
Develop new local and international sourcing channels to ensure cost efficiency and uninterrupted supply.
Coordinate with production, finance, and warehouse teams for demand planning, inventory control, and timely material availability.
Ensure compliance with company policies, import regulations, and statutory requirements.
Maintain strong relationships with suppliers and evaluate vendor performance regularly.
Prepare procurement plans, MIS reports, and cost analysis for management decision-making.
