Additional Requirements: Minimum 3-5 years in warehouse management, operations, logistics, or audit roles.
Responsibilities & Context: The Warehouse Auditor is responsible for conducting regular audits and inspections of warehouse operations to ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, safety standards, and inventory accuracy. The role involves identifying discrepancies, improving operational efficiency, and supporting loss prevention efforts. The role should have the capability to work both as an individual contributor and to lead a team.
Key Responsibilities:
Inventory & Stock Auditing:
- Perform cycle counts, full physical inventory counts and reconciliation, random inventory audits, and stock verifications to ensure inventory accuracy.
- Verify stock against records in the Warehouse Management System (WMS) or ERP.
- Investigate discrepancies such as shortages, overages, or expired/damaged goods.
Compliance & Regulatory Auditing:
- Ensure compliance with DGDA, WHO-GDP, GMP, and cold chain requirements.
- Audit temperature logs, storage conditions, and controlled drug handling.
- Monitor expiry tracking, FEFO/FIFO compliance, and quarantine protocols.
- Evaluate storage conditions, rack utilization, and product handling for safety and efficiency, and monitor warehouse processes for compliance with SOPs (Standard Operating Procedures).
Inbound/Outbound Verification:
- Audit incoming medicines for batch integrity, quantity accuracy, packaging and manufacturer authenticity Cross-check prescription orders against outbound deliveries to ensure correct dispatch on a random basis.
Operational Oversight & Improvement:
- Identify process inefficiencies and suggest corrective/preventive actions (CAPA).
- Support regular training sessions for warehouse staff on best practices and SOPs.
- Collaborate with QA/QC and Operations teams to implement changes based on audit insights.
Documentation & Reporting:
- Maintain and update audit logs, incident reports, and corrective action reports.
- Prepare detailed reports on findings with clear follow-ups for non-compliance.
- Report irregularities to management promptly.
