Educational Requirements:
∎ Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Textile Technology, Masters degree in any discipline
Experience Requirements:
∎ 6 to 8 year(s)
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Implement all relevant procedures described in the Quality Management System (QMS)
∎ Ensure that all in-house systems and procedures are updated, revised and modified to meet the needs of external certification bodies
∎ Update quality documentation and communicate to carry forward lessons learned from quality concerns
∎ Ensure that all necessary systems and procedures are in place to satisfy all customer requirements and audits
∎ Introduce new systems and procedures where appropriate.
∎ Train others in all aspects of the quality system and application of procedures
∎ Undertake regular internal and process audits of the QMS
∎ Ensure corrective actions are undertaken to address non conformities found
∎ Verify closure of non conformities with Certification Bodies
∎ Attend various meetings and action/communicate instructions
∎ Produce written reports and make presentations
∎ Undertake continuous training and development
∎ Identify business improvement opportunities within the organization
∎ Develop, implement and manage key performance indicators (KPIs) for each area of responsibility
∎ Set department objectives/KPIs and review and assess ongoing performance of direct reports
∎ Conduct risk assessments of processes and tasks in the department
∎ Assist the Management Representative in periodic review and establishing objectives to process owners.
∎ Carryout regular Process audits of all processes to review Input- output plans to ensure process inputs are clearly defined and provided to meet a consistent output in process
∎ Develop and maintain the ‘Process Performance Measurement System’ of the organization, and ensure data is updated on a daily/ weekly basis by all processes.
∎ Carryout regular data accuracy audits to ensure performance data is without error and reflect the actual performance levels.
∎ Monitor Process Performance charts on a daily basis for adverse trends and nonconformities and initiate corrective action.
∎ Conduct Quality Review Meetings to review performance and identify areas for improvement.
∎ Make investigation reports , root cause analysis for Product nonconformities, Supplier nonconformities and customer complaints and develop corrective action plans in consultation with relevant processes.
∎ Monitor the implementation of corrective actions and report to management on the effectiveness of actions taken.
∎ Communicate the effectiveness of the Process Management System throughout the organization and reports at management meetings.
