Job Context:
∎ Soorty Textiles (BD) Ltd is a high quality Denim Garments manufacture in Comilla - EPZ. It is vertical setup of denim garment manufacturing company with Embroidery, Printing Laundry & ETP. We are certified for GOTS (Global Organic Textiles Standard)/OCS (Organic Content Standard)/LEED (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design)/BSCI (Business Social Compliance Initiative)/SMETA (SEDEX Members Ethical Trade Audit)/ICS /ISO 9001: 2008 (Quality Management System)/ISO14001: 2015 (Environment Management system).
∎ Location: Comilla Export Processing Zone
∎ Reporting Authority: Head of Compliance & sustainability.
∎ Working Conditions:
∎ Work Hours: 8-hour work shift
∎ 8:00 am-5:00 pm and as per company policy
∎ Saturday to Thursdays
∎ Minimal amount of being "on-call"

Job Responsibilities:
∎ Develop and oversee control systems to prevent or deal with violations of legal guidelines and internal policies
∎ Evaluate the efficiency of controls and improve them continuously
∎ Revise procedures, reports etc. periodically to identify hidden risks or non-conformity issues
∎ Draft, modify and implement company policies as per the requirement of management
∎ Collaborate with corporate counsels and HR departments to monitor enforcement of standards and regulations
∎ Assess the business's future ventures instructions of Compliance manager to identify possible compliance risks
∎ Review the work of colleagues when necessary to identify compliance issues and provide advice or training
∎ Arrange TNA as requirement & conduct trainings / awareness Keep well-informed of regulatory developments within or outside of the company as well as evolving best practices in compliance control
∎ Prepare reports for senior management and external regulatory bodies as appropriate

Additional Requirements:
∎ Age 25 to 40 years
∎ Both males and females are allowed to apply
∎ Proven experience as compliance similar capacity
∎ In-depth knowledge of the industry's standards and regulations
∎ Excellent knowledge of reporting procedures and record keeping
∎ Methodical and diligent with outstanding planning abilities
∎ An analytical mind able to "see" the complexities of procedures and regulations
∎ Organizational skills to effectively process all paperwork/ products
∎ Self-confidence to take the initiative to approach potential customers/clients
∎ Excellent communication skills
∎ Work experience in green factory is an added advantage.
∎ Well Competent with BEPZA Instruction, BLL, BLR-2015, Environmental Laws, Fire Safety Acts, Accord/Alliance, BSCI, Sedex, C-TPAT, WRAP, ICS, RTM, GTW, GOTS/OCS/GRS, OEKO-TEX, C&A, Primark, H&M, Higg FEM 3.1, ISO 14001; ISO9001, Chemical Management, requirements.
∎ Good track record of developing factory environment through internal audit, HSE, WPC, WWA meeting and practices etc
∎ High level of communication skill with top to bottom level of employees to ensure the improvement of workplace environment.
∎ Hands on experience in implanting and sustaining the standards of top brands, managing audits and CAPs of different 3rd party audits coordination with Department head.

Salary: Negotiable
