Job Context
Alam Garments, a leading kidswear manufacturer nationwide, is seeking a motivated Assistant Fashion Designer to contribute to the design and product development team.
Key Responsibilities
Assist the senior designer in developing kidswear collections
Support the creation of flat sketches and design presentations
Help prepare basic tech packs and documentation
Coordinate with sampling and production teams
Assist with sourcing materials or trims as needed
Handle day-to-day design tasks as assigned by management
Additional Requirements
Only candidates who have relevant working experience in garments industry encourage to apply.
Candidate must have practical woven Garments Design, Merchandising experience.
Able to work under pressure and complete the task within a preset time-frame.
Good interpersonal & communication skills.
An eye for colour and feel for fabrics and materials.
Capable of transforming designs into mass replicable patterns.
Shortlisted candidates will be required to complete a brief 2-hour design test to demonstrate basic technical skills.
